That sounds like a great job KT, you should definitely go for it. Sometimes the threat of change is exactly what we need to find something that will satisfy us more in the long run.

I really enjoyed myself today. (weird)

I haven't been able to pay the sofa yet but I will. (I am going to be so skint for the next few weeks)

I have cancelled the mystery payment coming out of my bank every month that I missed. Yey!

I am writing the letter to go with the council tax stuff that is going to get sent off today.

I don't have a whole lot more to report. I'm getting there, I think!

    thanks guys,
I have a job application for what sounds on paper to be a fantastic job. a communication support worker (like I want, it's a kind of interpreter) working with a deaf engineer who installs satalite equipment. 39 hours a week, some admin, phone calls and stuff and the rest of the time being the communicator in the field (or loft... or roof...) for a salary about £7 to 9 thousand a year more than I am on now.

I would love it (and would cure part of the companies head count problem) I have an application form. Lets hope I can sell myself enough for an interview. I've only ever interviewed for one job and not got it and that was because I threw the interview in the middle after realising I really didn't want to work there.

I think I'll go and look at it again, see if I can't make a start on it.

That job sounds fantastic and so rewarding, you have worked so hard so definitely deserve it. You speak about that line of work with passion and that is most definitely one of the things they look out for in this kind of work.

Sounds like a great job though in the sense that you are supporting someone else to do a fantastic job and that despite any difficulties they may have, they are still out there and getting qualified and getting on with their job. It definitely wams the heart.:D

  • Hi KT
I didn't want to just read and run. I've spent the last hour and a half reading your diary and it has made me laugh and I'm full of admiration for you in your quest to be debt free. I especially love your list - I have got and have read The diary of Anne Frank more times than I care to remember and it is such a briliant read, if you can, read a book called "The Promise" by Eva Schloss, She is Otto Frank's step daughter and her story is facinating as well.

I have now subscribed to your diary to make sure I keep up with how you are getting on.
Good luck with your job application I hope you get an interview.

Update - NOTHING to report. Absolutely nothing.

I stayed in when everyone else went out and just bought something cheap from the vending machine, does that count?? (no, cause I used the bloomin' vending machine)

I need to restart the NSD challange I think.
