  • Hi flygang!

    I'm in this week

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Fill a box with clutter from around the room.. make everyone gather their own belongings and put them away.. whatever if left goes in the bin!

    Level 3
Wipe all the paintwork.. right up the stairs.. and back down again
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Clear a hotspot
    2. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    3. Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it
    Extras

Nursemaid for poorly DS (he's 6, pale, wan, and flopping about the place. Not as bad as the weekend but still has a temperature and stomach cramps so thought it best to keep him here today).

Research and order a new freezer to go in the shed, my kitchen one is just too small (upright fridge/freezer effort) so thought why not put a small chest one outside in the shed?

Sort out anything I've still to do for the AGM this week.

Update diaries with Christmas dates we now have - play performances, visits, etc so next time someone phones to sort a date out I know whats left...

    Filing on desk.

    Update snowballs.

    Finish laundry.

    Get recycling bags replaced.

    Moam

    (deleting not striking this week)
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

I'm freezing this morning :snow_grin:snow_grin Think I'm going to have to re-arrange lunch to Friday instead as my cold seems to have come back with vengeance along with a stinking cough :(

Plan for today is to come home from the school run and get in a hot bath then bed for an hour :o Then I'll tackle the end of the livingroom list ;) Something very hot required for tea tonight .... best go if I'm going to do my MACAW today ;)

    Morning Everyone,
    WM on
    DW loaded
Hope everyone has a good day, Off to find todays list.
  • Good morning, all. I hope those who have been poorly are feeling much better, but that's no excuse to go mad.

Speaking of which, I think whatever Valli's taking should come with a Government health warning!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can anyone tell me who keeps putting an extra tread in my staircase? I'm sure they are longer every time I go upstairs!

I didn't realise anyone on here kept chickens. :o Are they difficult to look after? Should I do lots of reading up beforehand? Our garden should be finished early next year (putting in raised bed, finishing patio, getting greenhouse) and my hope was to get a couple of chickens so we can have nice fresh chucky eggs.:D:T

Cakes - I'm very amateur but usually managed to come up with something. I can remember my daughter's 2nd birthday, cat mad so we had a cat face (simple circle, with a little loaf cut on diagonal for the ears), chocolate butter iced, with chocolate fingers for whiskers. :o I said I was an amateur, but she loved it. Mind you, it was helped by the fact that we took her to Bristol Zoo where they were celebrating their 150th birthday, so there were clowns on stilts, jazz bands, balloons, as well as the animals, and she had her photograph taken with the Mayor and ate birthday cake with her. She loves the Zoo to this day, and gets in free now, as the company she works for owns the land!:D

Cardiff - not too far from me tho (Cwmbran) and I love music, but prefer Brass! :o
Suggestion - Phantom of the Opera? No one will recognise you on the train then! (The Arcades are great, aren't they?) Find a sidekick and go as Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in a "Road" movie?

Aaaaaaaargh! - it's catching. Save yourselves. I've got on of those. I think it might be thumb pressure from Pigpen):p:rotfl:

Kaz - watch that cough! I speak from experience. :p:cool::rolleyes:

    Well, so far:
    Hung up washing on maiden
    Reloaded washing machine
    SS Kitchen and bathroom
Fed dogs (Jasper won't eat his , although he ate last night), cats and fish (and we have 2 more babies!)

    Still to do:
Strip DS's bed, coz he was still in recovery over weekend after 2 weeks work experience. Am I an unreasonable mother in that I wouldn't let him sleep over at GF's on Friday on a sofa bed (she's 16 today and relatively immature)? For those of you in the know, that is the original House of Fun (not) and he would have been wakened by around 7. If GF stays here, her mother invariably texts her at 7, and if she doesn't get an immediate answer, calls her mobile. If that's turned off, she calls the house phone! On a weekend, FGS! Anyway, I said he would need a rest, so he didn't get up till 11.30 Saturday, and 11.00 yesterday. (He has CFS/ME)

    Also:
    SS shower room
    More washing
Scout round for replacement tumble dryer
Finish Christmas list (who invented Spreadsheets? Thank you for those who have said they are doing them. Mine may not be the same, but as long as it works!:D)
    Write Christmas cards.
Do Menu Plan - anyone any suggestions for that please?
    Prep dinner

Make lots of tea for Major Tim, who is coming to use our PC to back up info as his has died.

Have a good morning, all. Will be back later to make sure no one's overdoing things!

Do you think they'd stitch "pigpen's boys" into the T shirts if I asked nicely???!

You could print your own T shirt transfers with 'PB's' on :D

So far I have cleared & washed the brekkie things, WM on, S&S the loo, made DH pack lunch, fed cats. Feel the need to sit down now, so will pack up an ebay parcel have a cuppa, then go to the PO.

Am expecting a phonecall from the Dr sometime today, so hopefully I may get a better idea of what they are going to do to me:eek:

So help yourselves to one of these if you feel the need:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Catch up later, hugs to all xx
