i got another 1 from argos this morning.
i phoned ring and reserve last night  and again this morning to check, and even the staff were surprised cos they weren't expecting any in.
i have managed to get
1 from tesco
1 from whsmith
1 from argos and 4 from boots
all within a week so they are still out there.
happy hunting.

And where would all yours be now I wonder?

Why is everyone getting them from Boots, I only want one adnyes I have been on waiting lists and yes I have got of my !!!!!! and looked. I'm gonna cry soon
Its getting really annoying especiall with people going on about how many they have got

Those of you who managed to get one from Boots, is that online because none of the stores in my area sell them? I left my email address online a couple of weeks ago but they haven't contacted me

Yes please. please report any stock I had two of the console packages ordered last week. The courier failed to deliver them because the stupid store did not label them properly they are now on there way back to the warehouse where my order will be cancelled and I will be refunded(company policy which they will not change even though it is there bl**dy fault) :'( :'( :'(
I have complained until I am blue in the face today and theres nothing I can do about it.

Hmmm....on a slightly different point a quick warning about the new slimline ps2. I bought one a couple of weeks ago (secondhand believe it or not !!) and have the following things to say about them

1: I admit they look quite cool (although as soon as you stick a memory card in the illusion is destroyed) and are a little quieter (although not hugely so)

2: They have the structural integrity of a dorito.

3: If you leave them by any open windows ensure that you have it nailed to something solid. The simple act of moving your controller will often result in a corresponding movement from the PS2 - if you have it above floor level beware as I get the feeling these things will not stand up to impact of any form.

4: Do NOT repeat DO NOT attempt to pick the thing up when it is on - the wafer like flip top will press down on the spinning disc and a expensive sounding screech will emerge from its innards.

Get yourself a chunky number and save yourself the hassle. If it is for the kids......well.......tell them that Santa ate all the slimline PS2's with sour cream and salsa.
