lol...know just how you feel ::) missed out on mine from boots yesterday when they had them in stock cause my credit card got refused....apparently been spending too much on line recently ......cheers MSE!

I managed to get a bundle (had to pre-order) from an Edinburgh "Comet" (Newhaven Road, for anyone interested) at £129.99. They were due another delivery today, so might be worth phoning, although you cannot pre-order over the phone with them, just in-store.

It is a slim Ps2, dual shock controller, and 6 games. The games are not that great, but fine for our kids as they are young enough not to care!

I also got a phone call from my dad at 8 this morning, saying ASDA apparently have them in stock today, but queues were forming even at 8am, so HURRY if you fancy trying them!

They aren't the new thin versions but are limeted editions of the old style, the aqua one is very rare (once these are gone that will be it - antique collecters) and selling for £180ish second hand on ebay. There isn't that much different between these 2 and the new slim one, these are updated versions of the first black ones and so the fan isn't loud & they have the infra-red port inbuilt as well, they don't have the networking built in though. If you aren't bothered about them being slim or need one quick then they are available in the sony shop @ £105 shop.uk.playstation.com - hope that helps someone

Cheers mrme...don't really understand why people are paying so much on ebay if they're available from the sony shop at the rrp ::)
