Thanks for the thought, I have ordered from index so we will see if they deliver and boots are meant to be finding me one. If both those options fail I have had 2 very kind offers off 2 lovely kind forumites so I should finally be sorted ;D
I have until christmas anyway as I told him I would get him the ps2 and a few more games if he could wait for chrismas which did the trick

I've been lucky,

I ordered one from boots.......took an age to come, then 10% offer happened, and I couldn't resist......so I had two ps2's and only one 11 year old son.

Another mse lady has taken one of them off my hands for cost + p&p

I've been watching your posts mrme, and imagining myself in the same position.........one child/no playstation

So I'll continue to keep my eyes open.
