Changing your ISP won't affect this forum or anything else for that matter. You may need to sign in again in case cookies are wiped but after you sign in again (if at all) then you'll be fine. No need to re-register!

Changing your ISP should not affect anything to do with web browsing at all. I access this forum in many different places without having to sign in every time.

    Hope this helps!

Maybe someone here can help select a good ISP - what do you use the internet for, and how long do you use it each day?

It may be worth considering Broadband as prices have come down a bit.

Hi Intel, I am with wanadoo at the mo and i am 'broadband'.They charge £17.99 pm.and am limited to 8 hours a day(which is enough) but we want to go wireless and then be 'online' all day.Tiscali is only £14.99 pm unlimited.
We spoke to chappy in computer shop today and he said that they have had so much trouble with the wireless thingy with wanadoo .When i look on the wanadoo site they are v. expensive for wireless and you have to buy a talk package and i don't want a talk package!!!00000035.gif

Mmm ever thought of Blueyonder 14.99 a month, no capping 2meg connection
and really easy to go wireless... They also have some deals from time to time.

Edit: I would choose Blueyonder all day long as Ive never had a problem.

Depends if Kazzy lives in a telewest cabled area.

You should ideally go with an isp that offers a monthly contract as it's so much easier to leave them if you're not happy.
The best ones at present seem to be NewNet and Eclipse. They are both under £13 a month.
    Have a read of https://www.adslguide.org
It's an excellent site and you will have your pick of isps with lots of recommendations and 'keep-aways'. Tiscali gets a dreadful write up.

You don't have to know their address, just the city/town is sufficient. ;)
