no i didnt steal the link from their post i did search but didnt see it posted, i searched by url and question so started the thread myself
I didn't say you "stole" the link - god you make me sound like I had a go at you! I just wondered how two people managed to find a link that doesn't seem to appear on the Five website.
Maybe I should go around waving a placard :rotfl:
I'm just interested to know where people got the link for the free entry route from that's all - I like to know that the comps I enter aren't going to get me labelled as a "comper" if you know what I mean. I watched the show and entered by text which is nice and anonymous but putting name/email etc labels you for future competitions. But of course, if there is a legitimate free entry route, of course I'd want to use it, who wouldn't0 -

Re the ongoing posts about the Fifth Gear Win a Lotus Elise Link.
I went on the fifth gear website on Monday afternoon before the show had been screened. The competition site was there BUT there was no questions and no free entry there it just said that the comp was going to be on the show at 8.00. I copied the link that was on the site at the time on to my MSE Competition note.
I must admit I was surprised to see later that my link had morfed into a free email entry route as I have always texted in the past.
I might try this again next Monday afternoon and check again to see if it gives a free emial route as well.
To be safe though I am going to text in the answer as well
Hope this helps
Cheers

Thanks Far Side, I had thought this might have been the case but then emweaver posted the same link quite late last night so I figured I'd got it wrong. I'm guessing that someone in the web department put the wrong link up - not the first time this has happened with TV show comps :rolleyes:0 -

I agree this is bloomin' annoying, although I've noticed it only happens when my regular postie is away - I'm guessing he's got more sense than the relief posties and puts them back in for sending. I wondered if picture postcards are better as the addresses would both be on the same side but the 'to' would be on the right under the stamp. They're more expensive tho unless you can pick up enough freebies from the cinemas etc.
===================================================
I went to the Cinema on Friday night and there were loads of free Australia postcards on a stand to pick up.
Also good places are pubs/cafes especially in student areas. JD Weatherspoon pubs are usually worth a try.

"Menurama statistics indicate that fish and seafood is most popular at the start of a meal, now accounting for 26% of starters, compared with 20% in 2003. It's also the choice for 17% of main courses compared with 14.8% in 2003, and for 18% of snacks compared with 14% in 2003."
