DH has enough money left over from his weekly allowance for us to take the boys bowling today...have pre-booked online &, with a discount voucher I've got, it will cost £10 for 2 games:T I'm going to take the boys whilst he stays with DD - who would be running up & down the aisles if we took her:rotfl:
I will take drinks with me & a packet of sweets for the kids - don't intend to spend whislt I'm there.
DS's football match cancelled due to the weather - so petrol money saved there!!
Will do my meal plan today to take me up to the end of the Grocery Challenge.
No plans to spend any other money today and we should still have some money left over to save towards stocking fillers for kid's christmas presents (have already bought their main presents.) Am NOT buying any rubbish this year - only things they'll love & use/play with!!!!
Also intend, at some point, to list my DD's clothes on ebay - need to iron them & take piccies - will try to do at least this today!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hi,i used to use a blender, but was bought a smoothie machine in the summer. But the method is the same.Intergalactic_Floozie wrote: »How do you make your smoothies? I'm thinking I might have rather a lot of fruit to use up by the end of this week!
I use up what ever fruit and friut juice have got left over, use ice,if its going to to be too thick. I also sometimes use semi skimmed milk or plain yoghurt and bit of honey with the fruit, instead of fruit juice. I find what flavours i like by trail and error.
Good luck and enjoy.0 -

Nothing for me! Did find £5 on the street yesterday which paid for my programme and coffees at the football.
Bought a nice Ralph Lauren polo shirt this morning for £15 (Tk Maxx) and that's been my first piece of new clothing in about 4 months. So, well deserved I think!
Got £5 worth of money off vouchers for citylink buses and will have a Xmas shopping day in Glasgow where there's more choice.
A poor day for moneysaving!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
