Esses girl and Kathy, thanks for the good wishes I feel much better now :o , OH and I walked into town and had the biggest breakfast ever, that and a couple of cokes have perked me up no end.

ravylesley, I know its my own fault :o , but we had a b****y good night, so it was worth it :D .

The only os I have done today is a towel wash, which I hung out, I am sure it was just as wet when I got it back in.

Have not even cooked a dinner, OH and I had a late breakfast, and dd went out with her dad to watch her step brother in a footie match, and they had a KFC, so we will have bread cheese and olives for tea.

Tomorrow i will do lots of os to make up for today, I promise :o

    :hello: good evening all!

Big ((((HUGS)))) MSD and Taplady, so sorry to hear about your ill friends. Thinking of you, and them.

Feeling much better today thank goodness, still got a cough but not coughing very often.....it's just that when I start, I can't stop :p

Squiggly, sorry you are still feeling so rough, get well soon!
Shez:hello: lovely to see you back!

We were going to have a turkey and mushroom casserole tonight but DS isn't here so will have it tomorrow instead, and DH and I will have Cod Florentine - not HM. but I think it's still fairly OS as it's from Lidl:D

And talking of Lidl, I bought some Goose Fat from there too - as a one-off for the Christmas roasties - it was 60p cheaper than in Sainsbugs and I'm sure it's the same size jar. I thought I'd better buy it early before it's all sold out! They were doing whole ducks for £5.99 too, "while stocks last".

taplady - I like Strictly too - it really is time for John to go, though, bless him, though there are apparently some websites with forums saying things like "Don't forget to vote for John - let's make him jive!" - how mean is that? :rotfl: I reckon Tom will win too.

And dare I tell you....I don't watch the X-Factor and will not be watching I'm a celebrity either:p

    All for now, best wishes

    ivyleaf xx
  • Afternoon all,

just skimmed through, forgotten most stuff already, lol!

Ivyleaf, I saw the ducks in Sainsbury's earlier too. I love roasties done in goose fat as well, they taste so scrummy. Really starting to plan for Xmas now as it's coming up quick!
Redruby, glad to hear you are feeling fractionally less fragile this afternoon & glad it was worth it...
Kathy, I just have a mental picture of you driving around only ever able to turn left, and going in ever decreasing circles...!!!!

Bought middle DD a new quilt, pillows & sheets earlier in Dunelm Mill, plus a couple of 60cm square feather-filled cushion inserts reduced to £1.99 each (not sure if I will keep them in my lounge or for my room yet). In fact may go back for more tomorrow, thought they were a bargain!

Did roast beef for supper too, as got a slow-roast joint in Sainsbury's. Feel so sleepy now but am determined not to go to bed as I won't sleep properly all night then.

Fancy something puddingy & warm & comforting, but that requires no effort whatsoever. Don't know what I want though....
