Am picking up my DS1 from Gatwick tonite, arriving home from his sunny/hot holiday in Sharm El Sheik. Six lads went, so I doubt they went to see the pyramids! more bars and scuba diving I think!
So doubt there will be much OSing today, maybe some fairy cakes with the kids, but really I need to get back to the gym as the pounds are secretly piling back on:o although those Jif Lemon Cookies sound yum and the kids have got some new xmas cookie cutters to try!!
My neighbours have put their xmas lights on!!

Ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just typed up a post and lost it
I'm having a relaxing weekend (chillaxing is the new word I believe) as have been knocked out by a fluey bug but have had to go to w*rk everyday as had time off with DD's bug the week before  I've been in bed by 8 most nights this week and darling DD's let me have a lie in until 9 yesterday and today. Its literally been a case of getting through the day and crawling in to bed at night.
Have totally lost my GC total but it's well over the £100 mark - had food from chippie and a curry in week cos felt rubbish:eek:
Yesterday was housework - today will be bulk cooking mince, doing roast chicken dinner, making cottage pie, making s/wiches for the week and sorting washing out :T
I thought Daniel was the right choice to go in x-factor last night - I understand what's been said about Rachel's attitude but really am a strong believer of if you haven't walked a thousand miles in her shoes in her case. I'm really trying to maintain that attitude with my new boss but finding it increasingly hard as he spends so much time on personal calls, non-work related websites, taking credit for other peoples work (inc my hard work) and generally being obnoxious (sp?) he is really starting to get to me but there's nothing I can do - he will still be my boss whatever so I think the only way forward is to keep my head down and be grateful for my wages.
Anyway ... (((HUGS))) to those who want/need them and hope everyone has a great Sunday xxxJUST DO IT ONE BRICK AT A TIMEPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTSWeekly Budget: groceries£50/petrol£50/Unnecesary£15DEBT PAID = 58% (£4,212/£8216):T0 -

Rib of beef veggies and roasties here and DH speciality Yorkshire (being a yorkshireman they quite particular about em, save me ajob anyhow)
Will be making banana bread and something else ? today DH said bread from the BM tastes like sponge cake:rotfl:so have bought a hovis mix now
N9eav - I'd pay the extra for the DVD....love a bit of Oliiver, Oliver Oliver
Essex Girl - How lovely being able to walk on the beach , and not having to contend with wet muddy fields.
I too gutted Rachel stayed in, but was obvious hence why she was smiling like a cheshire cat the whole way through.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah my DD1 has had her script for her xmas play which is called Abbarella (cinderella with an abba twist), so every waking moment she is practising her 10 Abba songs...... But can't wait to see it, it sounds really fab :T
Oh well better get on whilst the house is dog free;)
Have a good day peeps

Morning folks,
Managed to get my bookcases up yesterday - they look fab and were soooo easy (I got the IVAR racking from IKEA). Now just to fill them
Today got to work on the dining table and chairs. Also got to decided which mattress to buy for my bed.
Am seriously panicking about Xmas now - I think it's because most of my presents are HM bits etc which are not made yet. Really got to crack on with that.
Not sure whats for dinner - I fancy chicken....
Have a good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Morning all!! Posting here from work - made worse by the fact i came in early but then had to wait about 20mins before I could do anything because there was a power cut:mad:
Anyway, MrS is doing the roast today as his friend is coming over, so he can have leftover beef sandwiches during the week. My contribution was flourless brownies for pudding - made them last night and ate all the ones that fell apart when trying to get them out of the tin:rotfl:
Have a good day everyone - want to get out for a walk as I'm Moonwalking this year and need to get some miles done but it's miserable out!0 -
Morning all,
Quick one from me, as I have the most terrible hangover ever, not a lot of os will be done today, as I feel so rough. My own fault, dinner later will be roast chicken, and the rest of the day will be spent on the sofa.
Hugs where needed x0 -
Morning all!
Rolls in moski for tea, bacon rolls are becoming expected on Sundays, but it's such a nice quick easy tea after doing the usual roast! Though lunch today will be cottage pie, bought some mince and can't squeeze anything more in the freezer, so need to eat it! Still nice and simple, will bung it in when the rolls are finished.
Will be sorting washing, then ironing most of the afternoon I think, very os!
Then, yippee, this evening I'm off to see the new Bond film! Finally! Looking forward to it.
Have a good day all, hugs to those in need, esp MSD's friend xx
Edit: Squiggley, just wanted to say, write to Mr T's as well about the meat, if it is constantly off then it's probably not being put away in the chiller quickly enough somewhere along the line. Just returning it to customer services doesn't always make the point or get anything done!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Redruby - oh dear, I swear by a can of coke and a banana - hope that isnt breaking any forum rules.:D
Bargain - I do have to walk through a field to get to the beach - or if I go another way I can walk down a lane and then along the sea wall. Have to say though its now pouring so they will probably have a quick runaround the fields opposite.
Am doing well today, make Blueberry muffins using a Jamie Oliver muffin tray I treated myself to the other day. Works very well and no need for cases. Have also made apple and blackberry crumble from fruit I have had in the freezer for a while. Now need to get on and peel the veg for dinner.
Weather is really horrible here, feel sorry for DS who is playing footie at the moment - also the parents watching!0
