I have also received quite a few of these lately. I have decided that they will make a perfect secret santa gift so am going to wrap them all up together and voila!
Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before0 -
were also getting loads of these bulbs sent to us, got 2 last week from E.on who we`ve never been a customer off, and the only way they got our details was ages ago when they gave out free bulbs and saverplug. we wouldn`t mind if they looked nice, but all we get are the ugly tube ones, only once did we get some nice looking bulb ones, and that was only cause the ones we didn`t ask for where out of stock. we have 11 bulbs sockets in our house, 2 use small screw, 3 are on dimmer and 3 have the nice bulbs, the other 3 we use normal bulbs cause of short time there on. yet in our meter cupboard we have 28 "free" bulbs (with 4 more on there way from our housing association) our local church has said they will take them off us, to give out to people there. even our postie laughs now when he goes "e`r some more bulbs"0

I too have been given lots of these Low energy light bulbs free, but they are almost all 40 or 60 watt equivalent, when most people need 100 watt equivalent. This means that I will probably never use them all!!
