  • Every year I have difficulty with my brother - he is the original "man with everything".
This year I have gone for the Subuteo cufflinks from Firebox - he used to play subuteo when he was little and wears tie/shirt/suit every day for work.
  • can someone give me a link for the free name a star please.
  • www.google.com (go to the space section?)

find a galaxy etc of your choosing, print a photo off and circle any star you like- who's to know any different!

https://www.freenameastar.com is the one where there's a modicum of officialness to it.

  • I like all the voucher ideas. So if you named a star for him you could make a basket, certificate for naming the star all framed, voucher for a starlit walk, warm hat and gloves to wear when on it, mug and hot chocolate or wine/beer to have to warm up afterwards...

Or you could find something you enjoy doing together and make up some kind of experience. Have you heard of the 5 love languages? If you know what someone's is it makes it easier to make the decision on what to get someone so that they really appreciate it, time, gifts, words etc...

It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
