  • he will get £117 a week for the two week of! which just is no where near what he gets full pay so will hit us hard!! If baby comes when it should we will be ok with it split between the two mths but if its one mth then we wont have enough to pay the bills let alone eat!!lol
but as you said rags at least we have a few mths before hand, he is still owed a sat from oct so when he gets paid that i will put it away and also with any other over time he gets, just means the debt repayments are not going to be as high as we wanted!! At least i have thought about it now so should be a bit better of when the time comes!! who knows how we will afford to pay for all baby bits and save for time of plus attact the debts!!! i think i should just set myself a aim to not add to the debt when he is off work and if we do that it will be good... and at the end of the day he could have some holiday!!

Anyway just realised the time!!! best go of to bed!

Have done a meal plan for the week and tried to be as cheap as possible and use as much as possible from the freezer so will see how i get on tomorrow!!

    good night
    xx

  • Well just had the man round to fix the dishwasher! Pump has gone which will be £85 plus fitting but also lots of rust under it where it has been leaking lots so thats from somewhere else, also all the parts have been in the water so there will prob be some damage there aswell so it would cost to much to fix, man said we were better of getting a new one!!! So had to pay the £20 call out and still no dishwasher and also now need a new one! OH is like well we dont really need one as we have done without for so long but with no3 on the way i could really do with one to help make things easier!! Ohwell i guess we will have to see........might be able to find a real bargain or something to keep us going.....you never no!

  • sorry to hear about your dishwasher, i would def search the net for another one, we have a shop near us that sells things like that cheapish as they are seconds, may have a scratch on the back or something...................nothing like that near you???? i got a £300 dyson for £150 as it had a defect on the plastic at the bottom.

think the repair man is a bit cheeky making you pay £20 just for looking at it..............

Repair man is very cheeky asking for £20 just to look.
Do you have any excatalogue shops nearby? We got some furniture from one near us when we first moved in, its stuff people have ordered then cancelled or as Rags says may just have a tiny scratch or dent.

  • Thank you i didnt think about looking at places like that! im sure there is somewhere in Northampton you can get things like that cheaper!
I have decided that we wont get a new one - not yet anyway!! We can not afford it so wont get one!!

I am going to go to Abbey and get my ISA put onto the same card as my main account so i can get it on line and move money around, i will try saving some money and putting some towards the debt - maybe half and half so that when dh has time of we will be ok....

I didnt go to Mrt today so i have put it off another day and also wont need to go tomorrow now as we are going to the bils tomorrow night! So we have a party first and then around bils so wont need any food for tomorrow!! :) So all helps, even tough dh will need some beers for tomorrow night and might get a few nibbles (going to bring lots of the xmas bits we still have left!!) Have decided that we will use a little of the xmas money for this!! Will need to sort out a present for the little boys who bday we are going to in the day.....Todays party i gave one of dds xmas gift that she has lots of. Felt a bit bad about it but she has soooo many and got so much for xmas.
Saved a little by walking to the party so didnt use the deisel - every little helps!!

Done the usual clicks and bingo, for some reason tcb wont register the high street web clicks im doing so not getting them....
