Hello, your house sounds like mine, so much new toys but no where to put them! I am abit of a control freak and had to clean the living room today and "hide" the toys, was driving me nuts! PMSL
Yes i would also buy the parts for the dishwasher hun x0 -
I have decided that we are going to get the dishwasher fixed- think its just blocked but dh can not get to it so think it will need taking apart, so hopefully will just be there time charged for and not any parts.....and then any that is left will go on the cc!! and the kettle will wait till it def breaks! Its on its way but might last us a little longer...
I was really bad and added to my debt AGAIN today! But it was the most sensible way of doing it - if thats any excuse!!!We need a new bed for dd2 as she is in the cotbed which baby will go in, i want dd2 changed over asap as i dont want her thinking she has been kicked out of her bed for baby. We was planning on getting bunk beds which could go seperate till dd2 was bigger and then would have to get new wardobes etc to all fit in, but now i have ordered a new toddler bed for £58 from mothercare a lot cheaper then the bunk and dh is going to fix the draws we have so wont need new furniture!! so it does mean less spending which would of ended up on cc anyway as there is no way i could afford all what we wanted! so not to bad and i searched everywhere for the cheapest best option, got cashback and also used a free delivery code! so not all bad!
We also sorted out the bedrooms and put both the girls into the room together today, put them down early as i thought dd2 was going to play up but they both went to sleep straight away! so all good!
I still have so many toys to sort out! they just had so many in the first place and now have even more!!!!ARRR but we have put loads in dd2s(which i should now call the babies!!) room so can be sorted over the next few days! i am going to sort lots for ebay and free cycle i think as we need the space!
I have also decided i am going to write up a list of everything we need for this new baby, hopefully it wont be toooo much but i no it will be a bit. I will then stick to the list and get best deals etc and also going to get from ebay money and earn vouchers from surveys etc which can pay to wards what we need! I already have about £28 amazon ones so they will be a start. It will mean going through all the bits we have staored away in the loft and garage to see how things are!
Ok so of to list two spare calanders i have for 2009 on ebay see if i get anything for them now! and can go towards my above aim....and also look for some surveys. havent done any for a while now so hopesully there will be some waiting for me
Got to go shopping tomorrow for two bday parties we have over the next week - hope to get something cheap in sales for them, also will get dd2 something for her bday - but really dont think we will get her much! Will also look for the new washing machine so i can tell my mum what one, hope to get one in the sales!GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. you have had a busy day mummy!!!!!! well done for sorting out the kiddies rooms, we have just done ds1's room but need to do ds2's ready for him to move into.
i think the list of things you want is a good idea, we did something similar for the house and have worked our way through it slowly, just front and back doors and blinds for the windows to go!!
my front room looks like a bombs hit it with all the toys that we havent found a home for yet.......... why is it it doesnt matter how big your house is you never have enough storage space??!!
glad you and your family had a good chrimbo, i just need some of your motivation to rub off on me now...................

Hi, just want to say that regarding your fall, do write to the store manager initially and complain about the state of the floor and the lack of assistance from the nearby sales assistant. If no luck there, write to head office. Ive often heard of shops giving vouchers to keep the customer happy, not so much from bad press but bad word of mouth! I work for Mr T and wouldnt hesitate to do it myself if I was in your condition. anyway good luck with the baby and hopefully things are ok. Claire:beer:0

if i write a list of things that i want for the house it will scare me of how much we need!!!! Including new front door and windows etc! let in such a draft!!! also new boiler as ours is very old! so all cost a fortune and just sooo much!!lol
I have done a little list of babies bits we need:
* Mattress - Crib £30
- Cotbed £80?
* Electric breastpump £85
* Swaddle robe £10 - could be present?
* Buggy Board £60
* Double pushchair?? £100
* Pop up travel cot £30 - could be present?
* feeding bits £40
* Nappies and wipes (will get with shopping offers etc)
£435!!!
when baby is older:
* High chair
* Bath seat
I will be looking for all good deals and getting that a lot less then them prices! and also on the vouchers etc, i really will not be adding it to the cc!!!!
I also think you never have enough storage!! i would just have more 'stuff' if our house was bigger!!
I got a diary from my nan for xmas yesterday and i have decided i am going to keep it for all things DFW! so i will put in all payment dates and any over payments in (so i can keep motivated!!) and also when car, house insurance etc is due for renewal!!) of to fill in some of it now - as dh is watching the box set again! def think it was worth the money as it has 2500 hrs of program to watch!! all for £50 so will keep him happy for ages!!!!!
Oh and on the dh front he kept going on about how he wanted a wii today!! think he was having a little replapse from the wanting to clear the debt - but i hope i have taken his mind of that now as there in no way we can afford that!!!!GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. i was lucky with our wii as my fella's dad got it free when took a phone contract so gave it to us for xmas!!!!! no way would be able to afford one other wise. my fella's sister and hubby have got one and have loads of games so we just borrow theirs!!!!!!!
just a note on the buggy board, some dont fit on double buggies!!!! my mate found that out the hard way! ha ha ha! a silly question, but what feeding bits do you need to buy?? bottles??????? i got some with my tommee tippee steriliser to start with! i wouldnt bother with the swaddle robe, just get a massive blanket to do the job, think they do big ones in babies r us??
its a shame we dont do baby showers like the americans as they get everything they need bought for them and do a list like a wedding gift list!!!!!!!!!!!!!! genius!!!!!!!!
