afternoon all,
Been up to the woods with little dog walked for a coulple of hours, there was a shooting party there, but they were shooting towards the public footpath, which is illegal, so will be making a phone call on Monday, it was a bit hairy  . Little dog despite hating water, jumped straight into the pond, and rolled in something not very nice, so she has been in the bath, which she was most indignant about :rotfl: OH held her above the bath, and she swims mid air, its very funny to see :T .
Got two loads nearly dry on the line, will finish on the airer, jacket spuds are in the oven, and I am playing scrabble, perfect.
Have good evenings all x0 -

Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't been in touch but not easy in new job as I can't log on daily to see what you are up too.
Came home from just over a week away in Miami and Key Largo, on a family visit to my brother. It was fantastic but also a bit sad. Tuesday of this week saw me in strappy top and shorts in about75 F. Only time I needed a cardigan was when the accommodation air con was too cold! Just what I needed at this time of year - a bit of heat in my bones!
It was sad because there is every chance that that might be the last time my brother sees my Mum. She is in her 80s and very slow but relatively fit otherwise now she has a pacemaker. However, I don't think she could manage another long trip like this. My brother has never come home for a visit since he settled out there 10 years or so ago.
Hope all my special friends are well. I won't promise I will keep up because usually when I get home I am knackered! However I am thinking of you all.
Saw my darling DGSs today - missed them even though I was only away a short time! DGS1 was mighty glad GB not eaten by a 'gator!
Take care everyone.

Hello Everyone!
Well done on the win Neav9 - I managed a fiver on the Thunderball last week!
Today has been busy - hairdressers first thing, where I saw a scrummy recipe for beef and ale pie. Meant to serve 6, so I've done it as written and will freeze three quarters as a casserole and make a pie for two. Smells lovely in my kitchen right now! Have also made my Christmas cake today - how organised is that?
Big shop at Mr T's this morning, and visit to town this afternoon to order some curtain poles, confirm that my T-mobile contract is ending on Monday, purchase stand for the new TV DH has ordered and buy a couple of balls for the dogs.
Have also tried to make bread in the BM, but suddenly realised I'd doubled up on the water. Grrrrrrh! Have now thrown out and tried to start again, but machine thinks it's halfway through a programme. Ideas???? I've just left it for a bit! Have also done washing, virtually all dried outside.
Need a rest now!
Take care!Resolution:

Baby's in bed :j
I'm cleaning the bathroom down after ALOT of splashing, doing the washing, tidying up the kitchen and making some supper. No idea what I'm going to have - should have meal planned  still OH is working until 10 so I don't plan what I'll have when I'm on my own, just make something from the storecupboard and whatevers in the fridge.
Going to freeze the thai curry paste I opened day before yesterday in ice cube trays - Good/Bad idea????
Making lentils for babys food tomorrow and getting out a minestrone for her lunch. Get the meat ready for roast (again) tomorrow.
Planning on ironing in front of the TV, changing the bed sheets, writing a few letters, filling in some forms, filing and sorting through a huge bag of stuff tonight - phew.... AND I want to make some biscuits and sew up some bunting for the nursery. If I get ONE of these things done I will be happy!!! :T :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Whipped up chicken with bacon and cheese stuffing from somewhere, wonder if my fridge is magic some days lol! Kids ate that with hm chips and a ton of salad and almost all the value olives I'd marinaded! Then the big ones all vanished for the night, v peaceful!
Onion bhajees and salad for me! Have a lot left to freeze!
Whilst I was out with the girls today I bought a mincer from Lakeland, also makes sausages and pasta, so I'm quite excited, does anyone know a good place to buy sausage skins please? ds looked at me like I was battier than normal when I got it out of the bag, then started asking when we were going to make some!
Think that's all the os stuff I've done since I got home, still trying to catch up, but think that'll have to wait till tomorrow! Sorry if I've missed anything important, hugs if needed.
