Hi I'm new here

Got my second email round 9am today.
First email received on the 10th by sending blank one to the FSCS addy.
Many Thanks to all who posted useful info in the numerous Icesave threads here and good luck to those still waiting for the 2nd mail.

Hi guys.
Surname H for me. Not had 2nd email. Tho I do have a suggestion of the way they may be ordering it.

I received my ISA's MONTHLY interest on the morning of the 7th... yep, the day they went bust. I'm thinking that the FSCS might have chosen those that normally get their monthly interest from the 8th as the first to send 2nd emails to, possibly even preceded by those who were on annual interest as they stood to lose out more.

Just an idea...

Wish my 2nd email would arrive tho....

Oh yes... I meant to ask... does the second email come from the same email address as the first email? Just wanna be sure I shouldn't be looking for a different 'name'/'email' in my spam folders...

The FSCS have already confirmed that at the moment, the "ordering" is random.

Could be the start of a whole new forum thread but ..... has anyone (who was one of the first to receive their 2nd email) received their ISA validation certificate yet to prove to a new ISA provider that the money is tax-free? It's roughly two weeks since the first people got their 2nd email and I think the FSCS said you'd receive a certificate about 2 weeks after a claim.

Anyone?

I get my interest on the 10th and haven't got my second email yet.

Of the 5 people I know, including me, with icesave accounts, 2 have received their second email.

I feel that the process of waiting for an email is harder than a letter, as there is the potential to keep checking over and over again. As at least with a letter if it didn't arrive with the post then there is no point about thinking about it until the next day. But hopefully the wait for most of us will be over in the next 10 days or so. Hold in there everyone.
