There's nothing on the account screens about user names, as I would have expected.I only ever got the account opening letter. Then they went bust... -_-'
What about on the print outs I made of my account? I can't remember anything about the number.
I think you're going to have to call them and ask for the information to be mailed to you.
I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but this process is designed to protect us from the scamming bas***ds who use the internet to separate us from our hard earned money.0 -
Yay. Firefox saved the login number from the "forgotten password" form from when I forgot my password.
Yay for bad security .
Edit: All done. Really easy.
Great job by the FSCS.Savings

I won't have a philosophical debate about what constitutes good and bad security, but it's good that you're sorted.Yay. Firefox saved the login number from the "forgotten password" form from when I forgot my password.
Yay for bad security .

I'm still waiting patiently (but not very) for my second email. Both I and my wife have around 40k in ISA's which will need transferring when we finally get it back. Has anyone made any decisions where they will transfer thier ISA cash?0

Received my 2nd email on Monday the 17th at 1.56pm (1st email received on 4/11) and initiated my claim (£33k) without any problems.
Have also completed poll - apologies for the delay in doing so.0 -
I received my 1st email on 4th November also, however still have not received my second, do I need to worry yet!!!!!!!0

Second email today @ 19:15. When I log on to my account and initiate the FSCS process, there are no options listed.
Was it a fake email or do I need to wait a while longer ?
The initiate button is next to the view account link on the initial summary page. I was expecting it to be on the left where account options used to be, when I made my transfer.0
