    Has anyone else noticed that?

Yeah, that's fine as I was more interested in the Amazon voucher.

But unless I'm reading it wrong, the issue is that they told janey_uk that she wasnt even entitled to the Amazon voucher. Is that right janey?

  • I signed up through the promo link, after the 18th so knew I wouldn't be eligible for the Insider or Ninja stuff even though it was still being advertised on the Qype page. I completed my 50 reviews but am still waiting to hear anything from them, even after I've tried emailing them....very frustrating!

Just to clear up any confusion about uploading a picture. I mentioned a while ago that i did my 50 reviews and got an email saying i will be eligible for the £50 voucher if i have met the requirements and uploaded a pic. I hadnt realised you had to upload a pic, so i posted on here and someone who works for qype replied with this:
spora - we just added the profile pic thing today. We just had an awful lot of users on the site with no profile image which looked a bit strange. It won't stop you getting your voucher if you don't have a pic but you'd be doing us a favour if you uploaded one to your profile :)

So it looks like you dont need to upload a pic. I did anyway, just to be doubly safe :p

Yes, they said I didn't register. I'm certain I did as I had read the MSE thread first.
For everything else, there's MSE :T

Thanks! I shall keep my fingers crossed! I wonder when they'll start to distribute the vouchers, i think they said early in the week?? so does that mean some may get sent out from tomorrow??

I just had an email to say the liked my reviews but needed a pic.

    Hi,

You’ll be happy to hear that our quality control team has been through your reviews and deemed them very worthy of a shiny new Amazon voucher BUT we’d like to see your lovely face first so please upload a profile picture asap so that we can get your voucher to you.

Just click on the following link to upload a picture to your profile:

I've had the same, dazzle. Extremely unimpressed as there was nothing about needing to upload a photo when I signed up, and I'm cameraphobic and the only photo I have is in my passport! I refused to have a photo taken for my graduation, so I'm hardly gonna do it for a blooming voucher! Oh well, looks like I'm uploading OH's pic - he told me what to say on half of the reviews anyway! It's just the principle of it though. I think it's cheeky to change the rules after people have signed up.
