£50 amazon voucher from Qype

I think they changed some of the T&C part way through. All the original people who signed up did not have the thing with profile picture and were also signed up for ipod etc but people who signed up later had different requirements I believe. I have since added pic and done further reviews on site but just because I wanted to not for challenge.

the annoying part is i actually want to upload photos but everytime i click nothing happens?! arah! right, off to try on a friends pc!!

I got the same message, so surely that means I dont have to put a profile pic up.

I wonder when the gifts will arrive...

I've had a message saying my efforts don't count as they closed the competition on the 18th and I did it on the 19th, and that I wasn't entered. (I did enter and emailed to point out the website changed after I did).

The email from MSE advertising the promotion was sent on the 19th... looks like they got themselves a load of free advertising on false pretenses!

Oh no... that means I wont be eligible either! That's so unfair if they are saying that now as their terms and conditions clearly state that you would be told BEFORE you wrote any reviews if you were not able to enter the competition.... :mad:

Did you get an email after your 50 reveiws were done saying you had completed the challenge??

No confirmations at all, that's why I was emailing them. It took four days for them even to reply. I registered for it on the Wednesday morning and while I was doing it the links were still saying about the ipod and other incentives as well (messages on screen saying 'only x number of reviews to go'). By the time I reached 50 four hours later the pages had changed and the offers were all closed, and they said I never registered for it. (Why would I bother writing all those reviews otherwise?) Waste of flipping time!

That's strange janey_uk as I also did it AFTER the 18th but was still entered into the Amazon Challenge. I got my email after I finished the 50 reviews and even got one after 25 saying I was half way there...

Are you sure you signed up via the link supplied by MSE?

It says on the terms and conditions:

Qype users who sign up to the site after midday on 18 November 2008 will not be eligible to receive the Qype Insider and Qype Ninja rewards.

Has anyone else noticed that?
