Rainmac your plans for your Dad's birthday sound fab.
Found this blog last night there are some very cute digital stamps on it and best of all they give some of them away free. http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/0 -
dragonllew, I've seen his images before, you know what it's like when you go bloghopping, you wander off sometimes so far away you can't remember how you got there. I think most of his images are freebies and aren't they brilliant!
Can't help with the stamp, rainmac, but isn't it lovely, off to investigate the site further, they look a little different. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Oooh no, it must be another one. Yes we are members of C&CC and we belong to the folk section. mmm.... interesting. We have never been to Cannon Hall, is that Barnsley?
Ah well - nothing lost by asking. Cannon Hall is near Barnsley - the meet was in a village called Cawthorne - v pretty. We're not members of the folk group but do like their meets. I can only really get to meets when Ican go with my parents. They have a campervan, I have a tent and meets with no sanitation are tricky for the tent camper.
Maybe we'll see you around sometime.0 -

They are fab
Well took my card order back and said they had taken 6 hours longer than she had estimated so I got paid for another 6 hours work :T :T :T I feel cheeky but she did ask me how long they had taken! Have bought home a new order for 80 cards, again with bows but the invites are different.
After dropping off the cards we went to a nearby lake with a park to feed the ducks. We were 'attacked' by some vicious geese, both the boys had their fingers nipped. I finally managed to get us free of them and we then tried the park. Here we were invaded by a swarm of wasps. Think we were jinxed or something??? From there we moved onto a bouncy castle slide thing which was £3 for 10 minutes  Boys had a ball and then we had a ride on a little train that runs half way around the lake. Had lunch in the 2 for 1 restaurant. Weather stayed dry until we got in the car to come home:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

rainmac I'm sure I've seen a card made with that stamp in a magazine this week, it's lovely isnt it0 -
Thanks to those that said hi! And thank you very much Flourgirl for all the information you gave me it was really nice of you. x
I do like making things but never though that i can make anything good enough that people would want to buy, do people really buy them? Mainly as i said coz things are so dear to buy in the shops, i was out yesterday and there's craft shops round here but if i was to get everything that i wanted it would make me have no money for the rest of the week.
I have seen them on sale at craft fairs but they are really good ones, anything that i have made in the past was just cheap card and felt tipsmaybe a bit of glitter, but looking at the ones on here, think that i should rethink that one haha.
All excited now!Everybody Wants To be Happy.......Nobody Wants Any pain......But You Can't Have a Rainbow........Without Any Rain !!

Hi! Maria, you're in the right place for lots of help with your cards. The people on here are smashing and if you're stuck for ideas etc. someone will always help. You don't have to buy heaps of stuff to get started just buy a little at a time. I think everyone will agree that a really nice plain card will set you going. Please look out for all the links that people post, there's lots of free stuff out there that all you will need is some decent white paper and a printer. Lots of the girls () on here use a beautiful scallop edge card that is lovely to work with plus the free papers and toppers that we can link you with, will show you how reasonable card making can be.

Hi Maria, I don't make all my cards because I don't think everyone appreciates the time and work involved. I make cards for friends and family that I like and everyone else tends to get bought cards
When I started making cards I went mad and bought everything in sight. Lots of the stuff I bought I never used so passed onto others or sold via ebay. So my advice is to be cautious but give it a go cos it's lots of fun:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
