Afternoon from a very grey and damp lincolnshire!

My pocket card and my ATC arrived this morning and they are gorgeous! The pocket card matches my lounge decor.

I showed the cat her ATC but she only managed to open one eye (no change there then :p) She's getting a reprieve for her teeth as I had to pay for my car plus will get them done when DD is at her dad's next time as she will be really upset and I can't cope with both of them :rotfl:.

thinking of you today saveapenny xxxxx

happy belated b day lei . so jealous of your cuttlebug, think i'll have to save up and buy it myself :(

any ideas what to swap my 2nd guilletine for i have £12 but can top it up myself, and think i would like to buy something tool like. i have a heat gun and embossing powders and a dry embossing set and some corner rounders. i also have a circle/ oval cutter. thank you in advance for your help.
have to go and clean now!

I would have to suggest a Martha Stewart border punch - by far the easiest I've used. Prices vary depending where you buy them from - anywhere between £14 and £19.
DoCraft stockists have been selling the x-cut impress for £10, with dies reduced to £1.99. I haven't used one so can't say if it's any good or not; maybe someone else can say if it's worth it or not?
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Mary-op - just remembered, I saw guitar embellishments in Hobbycraft today. They're not on the website so can't show you a pic. They were card, about 2 and a half inches tall, silver, and quite flimsy looking. There were 5 in the pack, and I'm fairly sure they were £1.50 (might have been £1.99). I didn't think they were worth the money TBH, but if you desperately needed a guitar then it may be worth the money to you.

I bought the xcut impress on offer, I'm happy with it, wouldn't have paid full price mind, managed to get the stencils really cheap so there is lots I can do with it, I would recommend it if you can get it for £10.
    :xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile

Bit of a gnashing of the teeth going on at the mo, don't know whether to put this in for the Funky Fairys challenge. Is it their kind of thing?
All comments will be gratefully received even ones suggesting I do it differently, that's the sort of help I need.

That's lovely - put it in - it's just their kind of thing and anyway they like to see how people interpret the sketch.

I never thought of turning it sideways like that - their downloads are fab and you might even get a free one.

Don't forget that if you are entering the challenge you need to leave a comment on the Funky Fairy blog with a link to your entry or email it

Thanks, padster! I just gave it a bit of a twist but I'm not sure if we have to follow the sketch more.

The-Wife Did you get your card from me last week? I posted it the same day as Rainmacs and she got hers. Just hope it didn't get lost in the post, as I have had that happen before now :)

Gorgeous card, have you printed straight onto the card? I think its perfect for the Funky Fairys challenge :)

Hope you're feeling a little better today x

Err! Flourgirl, you'll have to forgive me, I can't remember getting one from you but then last week was the week I had my swap cards from the US, please can you tell me what was on the front. I think the only one I had was from Rusty with some images.

I printed the card onto an A4 card but had to cut it up as I had printed it the wrong way round, another wifely bodge!
