My mum will never forget my first word after giving birth to Maddison .... " ooh look mum she aint ginger!!" this is because Paul has ginger in him, and I also have ginger streaks but I am mainly dark ... I will never live it down!!

Just want to let you ladies know that I am going to sort through some stash tonight and do a blog candy on my blog. It will involve a mini challenge though so I will post up when I have some stuff sorted. It will also be based around a charity of some kind.

Fab name JHB - DD's nickname is Boo - mainly after the little girl in Monsters inc although she's usually called Boo Bear :rotfl:.

She's not strawberry blonde - when I had her the girl opposite was obsessed with her baby not being ginger and kept asking all the nurses and midwive's if she was - after the 6th ring of the bell in half an hour - one of them said she definitely was :rotfl: :rotfl:

Now, I know this isn't the nappy cake thread (I will post a pic there when it's complete), but I'm so excited about how well my first attempt at a nappy cake is going, I can't resist showing it off.
It will be a 3-tier cake, the bottom two tiers are just about complete (not sure if I'll add mor sock flowers). Here it is then:


Any feedback/suggestions welcome. It's a shame I'll have to wrap it, as I know that will be my downfall!

Well it's the first day of the hols for me and I've loved it! Not sure I'll be saying that in a few days! I've got my sisters LO tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that 2! Lots of crafts planned for the morning and out in the fresh air in the afternoon
