The_wife - gorgeous card - I love the layered flowers on it, and your sentiment looks fab!

OAP - congrats on your win - sounds like you got some fab stuff!!

Flourgirl - beautiful anniversary card, the embossing looks lovely as does the little bouquet.

Quiksave - lovely bright and cheery card - your flowers look fab!

Furrypig - I've never heard of that - I'll have to have a look for it later when I've picked up the kids from school.

My flowers arrived today, I can't believe I only ordered 32 packs!!!!

    Hello Everyone! - I'm back!

Well, we got back on Saturday evening after a lovely holiday - with thunder & lightening every night and sometimes in the day as well but we only got soaked once so not bad really. The scenery was fabulous. (Lake Garda)

When we got back we found the power had been off & freezer defrosted - not too much of a problem 'cos it was mostly bread, veg & icecream. Sunday, my oven broke and is still locked shut waiting for a repair man coming tomorrow and this morning we found there is no power to the central heating/hot water. (Melissa I've now passed my proficiency at boiling water if you need my services for the birth!) Seemed very quaint washing hair over sink rather than in the shower. Electrician coming later this afternoon.

So, all in all, I wish I'd not come back except to catch up on nearly 30 pages of gossip on here! It's taken me 'til now to read it all - If I don't mention you please forgive me only a few things stuck with me!

So sorry to all those struck down with S 'flu, shingles, chicen pox, sore shoulders, legs backs etc.

Belated Happy Birthday to Skier Girl.

Glad you won your court case Rusty & hope you have a successful day with Madison's potty training.

JHB - Hope you are feeling a bit happier & your sister is OK.

Fabulous lots of cards everyone. I did a wordle one last night for a Man U fan and firmly stuck the main layering pieces on crooked but it has had to go as it is - no time to re do it. Rainmac I'd offer to help you with 190 cards but not sure you want stuff put on crooked!

Am I right in thinking the current challenge on here is a thank you card with embossing? Does that mean the hot gun sort or cuttlebug sort please?

I'm getting very confused with all that's going on but will do my best to keep up.

If you've read this far - THANK YOU!!

    Saveapenny - thanks very much!

Qwiksave - lovely challenge card - the letters are great.

I hope everyone enjoys their mammoth purchases of flowers - I have one little pack of patterned flowers but it's weird. they are just not really my thing!

OAP - congrats on your win.

Rainmac- what a lot of cards - rather you than me! When's your craft fair - are you fully stocked yet?

Marg - sorry to hear of your trials and tribulations - hope all is well now.

Sports Day was lovely - and I managed to avoid the mums' race - result!

Well it looks like I was [STRIKE]forced against my will[/STRIKE] volunteered to 'host' this challenge.

I am more than happy for the card to be any thank you type card (I have to try and do teacher thank u's!) also I am happy to do any embossing dry type or heated up type. Lotsa people have got new cuttlebugs and I think that's why it was chosen.

I don't have a bug and I have never done heat embossing so will use the shapeboss again!!

Good luck everyone and well done to the early birds who have already completed the challenge.

i will try and find something to give to the 'randon winner'.
