Just popping quick with the challenge card. The picture was taken in the early morning light, not much sun this morning. The main colour is a lovely soft sage green which is one of my favourite colours.

    thankyoucard.jpg

For the embossing 'thank you' I used copper kettle embossing powder from ebay, dots and washed out sage green from Pink Petticoat printed directly onto card. Sadly not a good picture but I'll keep trying.

Morning ladies! Shhh don't tell my children but I've got a sneaky day off! Sports DAy this afternoon but lots of lovely me time this morning!

The-wife - I think you Snowgirl card is fab - very much my sort of thing!

Bunbun - lovely Xmas card - I think I might try some pink CHristmas this year.

Hels - your stuff is lovely - as OPs have said the mum wouldn't ask you if she didn't think you were any good! I think a lot of people on here need to have more confidence in their abilities -imho you all rock:T Just seen the card on your blog - it's gorgeous.

Flourgirl - hope your shoulder is feeling better and really cute cards on your blog.

Rusty - hope your gorjuss girl turns up-Ithink you have just been unlucky as I have always had a good service from them before.

Whoopidoo -your ducks are soo cute.

    Congrats to Furrypig.

Lovely Lili stuff - but I've decided to be good - well for a couple of days at least. Had a quick tidy of my craft desk and I have so much stash already

Rusty - we've got SF at school, and of course we're all a bit sniffly in our house now! My view is that I'd rather just get it over with before my holidays!) and hopefully get it as mildly as nearly everyone else who has had it.

JHB - when are you going to Vegas - I'm very jealous.

The Wife - lovely challenge card - really sophisticated.

Mel - 3 boys - you are going to be sooo outnumbered! Hope all goes really well for you.

I have lost all sense of craftyness so housework is being done instead ... some would say that is a good thing! ... hopefully I will have some goodies arriving today ... if not then my craftyness may still be gone!

Oh Rusty the posties been this morning, thank-you so much for my suprise:j:T and a gorgeous card too!

We are starting our holiday at Corbridge, its such a lovely village. We are actually staying at the RUFC ground, they put on a temporary holiday site for the camping and caravanning club and its only about £6 per night. We will be visiting Cramlington and where you are as thats where my great grandparents came from. So you never know I might be knocking on your door for a cuppa :D Then after that we might head for the coast, we never book anything until the night before so it really depends on the weather as to what we do.

I have made a quick Golden Wedding card this morning, but for some reason am struggling with photobucket, it wont let me on  I'll have another go in a bit

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I have rang calico crafts today as they still haven't sent me my invoice and i ordered on friday. However they are not answering the phone which is a bit annoying but i guess they are very busy still sorting it all out but they have had long enough now surely. I left them a message on the answer phone so i will have to wait and see. Must admit i am not very impress. i understand the orders were overwelming but a call or an email to but my mind at ease that they are dealing with it would have been nice. I didn't just order flowers and by the time they get round to my order my other things might go out of stock.

Does anyone have an image of an old woman in a champagne glass? Just remembered my friend who will be 30 lives in flip flops so i am thing about doing a card with them on but can't quite get the mo jo to do it.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
