Aw thank you JHB & Melissa :) Jailhousebabe. They start out as rubber duckies that I buy as a box of 4 from the elc. Started off as a swap on UKS last year and I really enjoyed it and carried on ;) They are sooo easy and it just depends how you want to make them. I usually cover them in a layer of paper mache usuing loo roll/kitchen towel depending on the texture I want them to have and then paint them with different paints - that one was done with serviettes and decopatch glue. They don't take long at - it's the drying times that hold things up :) Depending on the glues used/paints used I think my longest one to do was the Alice ones but only because they were my first and wasn't really sure what I was doing. They took about 4 days.

I am not too sure i am going to get any flowers after all :( I had a phone call from the lady yesterday morning who said she has been overwhelmed with orders for the flowers and although the computer let me add the flowers she doesn't know if there will be any stock left once she has sorted it all out. She said she has rang tons of people saying the same thing, She still must not have sorted it as i still have not recieved an invoice from her so it is looking like i won't get any.

Any ideas for a 30th bday card for a girl who does not want to be 30 and we have all been told she doesn't want to see a 30 any where? I am thinking something funny but haven't come up with much other than doing her a 29th or 21st card.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

It's lovely and sunny here are the moment I just hope it lasts all day, its Willows (gd1) Sports day and last year they were rained off. Its such a shame when that happens they all work so hard and get so excited then to be dissapointed its not fair.

I made my challenge thank-you card last night but wont post it on my blog until Rainmac has done the draw for the christmas card.

Not much to do job wise today just a bit of ironing, no cooking today either only salad for tea DH has a blood test tomorrow for his cholesterol  we have both been very good and stuck to the diet for 1 month that the nurse gave him. So tomorrow we are having a treat Blackberry and Apple Crumble and custard  since Rainmac mentioned crumble the other day I cant stop thinking about it. Sad arent I....

You're not sad, I could eat crumble every day :p. We had ours on quite a warm day so served it with clotted cream ice cream instead of custard. It was lurvely :D

Can't believe you have made your challenge card already, you are just too organised  ;)

Big thankyou to Rainmac for doing the challenge.

Remember ladies you have until this weekend to alter a container for my challenge on craftyplace!

Flourgirl glad your flowers arrived, I am quite worried as you all seem to have had phone calls and I have had nothing??

I have spent the morning so far catching up and commenting on blogs, so sorry it has taken so long ... I just need to catch up on craftyplace now and I also need to pull my fingers out for the challenges!!!
