Making cards - Ideas for a card craft beginner (part 2)

I just wondered if anyone was still joining in the creative card crew challenges?? Not heard anyone mention it on here recently. I actually did a card for this weeks challenge (shock horror!!) the theme was weddings.

Worked out well for me as I had to make one for a friend at work. Anyone else done it or tempted to??? i am just nosey!

I tend to join in their challenges when I a) get the time, and b) like the theme. I haven't done one for a few weeks now. I actually need to make a wedding card too for an order but I needed to order some pearlised card and only just got round to it today so there's no way it will come before Tuesday, oh well :rotfl:

I like working from Sketches a lot, the last challenge I did was the Sketch Saturday one, I tend to work from sketches mostly anyway as I don't have very good layout ideas on my own

Oh i am completely at a loss with my challenges.

Can someone help ? Where or what is the challenge to make a card that is all one colour ? Im sure i didnt dream this challenge... But i cant find it

I might have to look at Sketch Saturday as you have recommended it Gemm! I need the inspiration sometimes to try new things or give me ideas and it was the first wedding card I have done so I was pleased with the challenge.#

You do beautiful cards Gemm so I think you must have loads of fab ideas I am always impressed by them!

aww thanks furry maybe that's because I only let loose onto the internet the ones that I'm actually quite pleased with :rotfl: there are tons more that I'd never show to anyone lol... like the time I glued ribbon on with PVA glue and it soaked through to the top of the ribbon and left a nice long sticky mark :rotfl:

I have to write them all down too, else I'd never remember what deadline was for which lol. I stick them on my noticeboard in my craft room so when I wander up there wondering what to do it reminds me
