Rusty - so sorry to hear about your poor cat - we have two elderly ones & every time we go to the vets I wonder if they'll come home with us....... I dread it......sending big Hugs to you.

Flourgirl - Ouch! Hope your toes are feeling a bit better now & you are sat with your feet up. It's such a shock when you trip isn't it? I'm always tripping up (usually over my own shadow)

Melissa - My niece has just told us she's booked for a C section on 10th August as she had an emergency one with her first. I had a friend who had a hot summer baby many years ago & she used to sit in the kiddies paddling pool & got them to pour cold water over her.

Myzdamena - Hope you enjoy your trip to Manchester - lots of good shops.......

Sorry I've not done the fantasy challenge - short of time & had real ones to do - will post them later

Furry - yours are so cute - what nice scottish names my great nephew is called Euan also 3.

CG - My! you've been busy! some great cards on your blog. And on your too Paddingtondoo

    Welcome & well done Sylphraven

You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

Rusty - I'm sorry to hear about your cat. And isn't it just the way things go that when you and OH would love to be together to deal with something like this, that's when he gets a job away from home. :(

Melissa - couldn't you just scream?! My sister is 35 weeks gone; she had a scan last week and they told her to return for another today (she assumed it was because they'd told her the baby was lying the wrong way & wanted to check if she had moved). The lady doing the scan told her that her consultant would explain things to her - to which sister replied that she didn't have an appointment. Much whispering later, an appointment was arranged for Wednesday. When sister went home, she looked up on the internet what they'd said was wrong (something to do with the placenta being below the baby?) and got quite worried so called the labour ward - they told her that there's a high risk of heamorrhage (sp?) so she should be on bed rest. She's absolutely fuming that they let her go home without telling her that!

Flourgirl - ouch! I hope your foot heals soon. Nearly every time I go into a shop I feel like ripping someone's head off. :o

I've not had a chance to catch up on posts properly, I'll try to do so tomorrow. I've had the weekend from hell - to the point where I arrived home at midday yesterday and went straight to bed and stayed there! I figured nothing else could go wrong if I was in bed. :o
Today I've made a card for the fantasy challenge (sorry it's late!), and a card for sister's baby - as she will surely be along sooner than expected now!

some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Oh JHB sorry to hear about your carp weekend and your sister's poor treatment - it wouldn't have hurt them to say go home & go to bed would it? - if they know enough to know something not right they should be able to give some sensible preventative advice at the same time......... Hope your week gets better - your card is so pretty.
  • Have made my card for the challenge hope its not too late. have put it on my blog http://tinkerbell-neverneverland.blogspot.com/

made a few other cards last week but have yet to post so will stick them on my blog tomorrow
    night all x

oh jhb sorry to hearabout your sister i had that 18 years ago when i had the twins. placenta previa or something i think they called it. they took it pretty seriously then and bed rest or hospital for bed rest were the choices.
