Hi I am whizzing in from the heat to say hi and also quickly put my challenge cards on here as just done them!!
They are for my twin nephew and neices 3rd birthday in just over a week, the unicorn is for Iona
the dragon is for Fraser! Both have glitter on but doesn't show up in the pics!
They are both really simple using (finally!) some lilli of the valley diecuts mounted on some card and papermania paper on some scalloped craftwork cards from the show at the nec!
Phew scraped thru just intime for the challenge as usual!!!
Sadly have to get ready for work now but will catch up tonight and actually be polite and read rather than just post!!
have great days (goes off singing 'feeling , hot , hot, hot!')0 -
Beautiful cards Furry
I love the unicorn!
Sorry not had much of a chance to catch up on here but all of the cards are beautiful please forgive me for not mentioning them individually.
I have just had a quick go at heat embossing ... wow how cool and easy is that!! Glad I got some powders at the weekend now!!
I have 2 cards to make up and ideally they need to be done tonight but that probably won't happen as I have had to book one of our cats into the vetI am expecting the worst which isn't going well with OH being at work
I may not be around for a couple of days but hope everyone keeps well.
Melissa I really don't envy you!! hope you relax plenty before the baby arrives.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Mel - you honestly can't be any more grumpy than me in this heat, come and stay with me and we can be grumpy together. That's rubbish about the blood test! I had one with DS2 and I phoned several weeks after to ask about the results. The receptionist told me my cholesterol levels were extremely high (over 4 times normal levels ) and I needed to see a doctor urgently. She said there were no appointments left for that day  and so I had to phone back the next day to make an appointment for that day. I was terrified about what could be wrong and didn't sleep that night. When I get in to see a doctor he told me that they had tested my cholesterol by mistake :mad:and isn't something that is ever checked up on during pregnancy as it does go up cos your pregnant but that's fine. I had it retested after I had Thomas and it was normal.
Awww Rusty, hope your cat is ok. As you may remember mine has given me a couple of scares this year. Thinking of you x Looking forward to seeing some embossed stuff from you
Myzdamena - bet you're so made up about your trip to Manchester, sounds fab :jHope the party goes well
Furrypig - I love your cards, the images are soooo cute :T
Saveapenny - your ideas re: Crafty Place sound very sensible. If you're looking for volunteers to organise any July challenges/swaps please consider me as I loved doing the card swap:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I don't think it is too early to start making Xmas cards. I wish I was in a position where I could start making mine so have less to do nearer Xmas so can enjoy the run up a bit more:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
