Sallyuk Gosh you've been busy! Fab cards
Bunbun your cards are so sweet!
Rainmac I love your card, I've got the exact same paper, I love it!
I've still not got round to making my pocket cards!!! The sizes are confusing me!! Has anyone got the exact sizes for me to cut using card??
Dragonllew what a fab idea, I love it!!

I've been looking around a few shops today for the pro-marker pens but they only seem to come in packs I can't justify paying that money out especially if I don't get on with them! So I'm looking to buy them indvidually?

Hels if you want to use a sheet of A4 cut it in half long ways then you fold each piece into 3 it works out at nearly 10cm intervals score and fold, they will only be small cards though and you will still need bits of card for your notelets. Try it with a piece of paper first so you don't spoil your card. HTH

Afternoon all :) Hope everyone is ok and having a good weekend??

Sorry I dtill haven't had a chance to catch up on blogs, or to play with my new goodies!! We went back out with the kiddies to the fair which comes to town once a year, we all had a fab time and then OH and I sat and watched a film so didn't get chance to make any cards like I had hoped I would!! I am working all this week and car less so this week is going to be complete hell as I can't walk to the school let along to work after I have been to the school then all the way back again! So I have spent the weekend stressed but trying to make the most of OH being home ... can't believe in 10 hours he will be back on the road again for another week!!

I will catch up with blogs etc etc in the next few days once things have settled down a bit! sorry!

hi just a cuttle bug question, how many 'things' do you get with the cuttlebug and is it an expensive hobby to have ie is it a bit like a stamp where sometimes you don't use it very much, i mean the embossing/ die cutting things ( i'm very good with the technical terms!) how much are the extras?
i think that is all my questions, have had a look at a few blogs but time seems to slip me by at the moment, have had dh best friend down for the weekend so spent last week cleaning etc and the weekend entertaining. will get round to leaving essay style comments once the school hols start!!!

will be putting a few cards i made up on the blog later ( or monday  ).

Well I think you can use the xcut dies on the cuttlebug and maybe just about anything.. you can even get those for 1-99 but that's just a basic one I think

It's nice that you can use all sorts of die cut whatnots on different machines...means Ebay is a great place to get exactly what you want for a gooooood price hehe

I want to make a male card and have came accross this personal impressions pad. However it has 36 sheets in the pad... i only require 2 sheets- the gardening one and the contrasting colour sheet.
Would anyone on here have this pad and would be willing to sell me 2 sheets?
    TIA

Evening all - I've been reading but not posting much this week as I had to go into work 4 days and it really got in the way of the rest of my life :p.

I've added today's makes to my blog - thought I deserved some me time after 2 hours of ironing and a fight with the duvet and one of them big vacuum bag thingys. We also needed a card for FIL during the week and one for DD to take to her dad's wedding on Saturday.

My fantasy card is on my blog about 4 posts down - fairy looks a bit depressed though :p.
Cuttlebug dies can be quite expensive especially if you develop an alphabet habit but all the Sizzix ones fit except bigz and you can sometimes pick up bargains from their site in the promotions although P&P is £5.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Thanks ladies, you're all very kind!

My favourite one is the giraffe one too, and I'm still not happy with OH's blue card, not sure why, but think it needs something. Oh well, too late now to change it - lol

Saveapenny, thanks for asking - training is going ok, I'm managing to bleed most patients these days, although I'm still being told that I'm expecting too much of myself too soon and that those who have been taking blood have been doing it for years, so have plenty of experience, I've only been training for just over a month now - lol, but I'm really enjoying it, I think I must have a sadistic streak in me!! lol

Kim_Possible - great cards - those papers and images look fab.

EmmaOC - crikey another one with a cuttlebug - I am starting to feel really left out now!!

Rainmac - great card - just perfect for a teacher, and your teacher's survival kit is a great idea - I'm sure she will really appreciate her gifts. Love the pocket card too, can't wait to get my hands on those papers - they look fabulous!!

SallyUK - a fab selection of cards - I love how you've used actual pics for the images, its hard to choose a favourite as they are all great!!
