So well done on your walk Mrs Tidge, how long did it take? I did 5km with the Race for Life, not sure I could manage 10km

Mel - forgot to say earlier huge congrats on your nappy cake order :T The first of many I'm sure ;). Now, have you ordered the pram? When's it coming?

Goodness I'm away less than 2 days and it takes me nearly as long to catch up on all the chatting lol....

I have the Messy rabbits cds they are very good aren't they? I considered getting the cutey companion whatnots but they seem to have to be used with stamps so would get very expensive...can't really cope with huge amounts at the moment so that will have to wait I think

Thanks everyone for comments here about my blog and cards... someone mentioned a Magnolia card not so sure which one they meant though as I'm half asleep as health a little up and downy atm and we spent a lot of the day out yesterday bowling, pizzahutting and toys 'r' us-ing for Mini-Me's birthday on Monday

Not sure anyone mentioned the promotion at Madaboutcards yet but if you spend 20 pounds by 10pm tonight I think it is someone this weekend will win a Quickutz Silhouette SD Digital Craft Cutter which looks fabulous and it's 10 percent off weekend too! ... although not sure whether I can afford 20 quid right now so I'm out of that one lol...

Horrid weather out there...good job I've been in bed most of the day lol!

    xxxxxxx hugs xxxxxxx

    Gail xxx

Edit: OMG the cutter has an RRP £299.99..think I'll try to find the 20 quid somewhere hehe
    :j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j

Kim does this help you with the pocket cards. It's how I make mine, with 2 125mm square cards

Sally UK Fantastic cards :T all individual and very personal, really good ideas and beautifully made.

Kim I love your Pink Petticoat Sundae cards:T, glad to be of help.

Rainmac Brilliant cards on your blog and the Survival Kit is just perfect.:T I have to admit to copying that idea for my grandaughter to give to her teacher. Just need to pick up a few bits tomorrow to complete it. thank-you:A

Mrs Tidge Well done on your walk I hope you raised lots of money between you all :T not sure I could have walked 10k.

Right! now I have ordered the "Bug" can someone please tell me "where is the cheapest place to get nesties from and will I need to buy a special mat for embossing?" I have just read that you can use a couple of pieces of funky foam instead :confused:and I have lots of that.

at last I have made some cards:

the first is for my friend's daughter's birthday:

the second is my challenge card. I intended to do something different but time and inspiration weren't on my side and I went back to the flower fairies!

kim sorry i didn't get back to you about the pocket cards. I took the easy way out and used tri fold cards I had bought from home bargains! flourgirl's tutorial looks easy to follow.

Rainmac I love your card, I've got the exact same paper, I love it!
I've still not got round to making my pocket cards!!! The sizes are confusing me!! Has anyone got the exact sizes for me to cut using card??
Dragonllew what a fab idea, I love it!!

I've been looking around a few shops today for the pro-marker pens but they only seem to come in packs I can't justify paying that money out especially if I don't get on with them! So I'm looking to buy them indvidually?

Hels 102 try here for promarkers they seem to be about the cheapest for promarkers with the added bonus of free postage they do packs as well as individual ones they do have a minimum spend but it is only £5. hth
