We went in November, not a great month for the Northern Lights but the weather was pretty kind to us.

Afternoon ladies - what a lovely one!

Just been to a lovely childrens party that just comprised a giant bouncy castle and trampoline in the garden and lots of party food. My boys had a great time - I enjoyed the Pimms! Here's the brthday card I made - I was really pleased with it in the end - took me ages to think about how to put it together.

ANother confused leftie here - I write with my left hand and do pretty much everything else right handed - athough I struggle with either hand with a corkscrew - thank goodness for screw tops!

Flourgirl - lovely cards. The fantasy card is gorgeous.

I'm doing a 10k Starlight Walk tonight for our local hospice- think I'll try and have a nap before hand. We start walking at 10 so will hopefully be home about 1am.

Have a pleasant evening whatever you are doing x

Flourgirl - great fantasy cards - a really pretty image. Your anniversary cards are fab too - I love how you've used the scalloped circles. Did you ink around the edges??? Those flowers are really cute - where did you get them from???

Mumhug - really pretty challenge card - I really like the colours.

Myzdamena - I'm not the only one then that always bodges up when I'm stamping!! I find it so frustrating!! I tried stamping years ago and gave up - I've only just started again recently. Your magnolia card is lovely - its not naff at all. And the only thing that I manage to shade is hair at the minute - everything else looks a mess. I only have myself to craft with too, sometimes my son will get involved and do a bit of colouring.
Skiergirl - your birthday card is really classy, I love how you've done the present.

Saveapenny - thanks for sharing your holiday pics - it looks beautiful!!

Npsmama - great altered box - I had forgotten all about this challenge!!! It looks really pretty. Your cake looks so yummy!!!

Rainmac - your image wallet is gorgeous - the lace looks great!!!

MrsTidge - fabulous space card - it looks perfectly put together!!

Hels - I've just started using my xcut guillotine and I'm really impressed with it!! I use pro markers for colouring in, but they are really expensive!!!

Popped into the Asda yesterday - I've had my first proper order for a nappy cake, so I went on the hunt for some supplies. I noticed some great kilner jars at the entrance for only a pound - I thought they might be useful for your bath salts Rainmac. They also had some reduced father's day teddies for 1.50 - they were cute lions and all you have to do is take the t-shirt off them and they'll be perfect for nappy cakes. It does say on the tag though not suitable for kids under 12 months. I also picked up an aristocats hat and glove set for a quid reduced from 4 quid.

Afternoon from me :) Not staying long and have only briefly noseyed at posts, not at blogs (sorry)

We have been out, ended up in a papermill shop where I picked up a forever friends stamp, 4 pots of embossing powder, a box of card, some reduced acrylic blocks, creativity mag with free D&D stamp, an embossing pen and I think there was some other stuff aswell but forgot??

Must dash as I think we are heading out again :D

P.S Oh hasn't noticed that my stamp collection has tripled in the last week .... nor has he noticed my basig grey papers are multiplying ... think I need to start making stuff before I need a 3rd craft box as then he will notice!!!!!

I am going to hopefully try and make some cards up this evening if I can persuade OH that he should chill out infront of the Xbox and I may even try my hand at embossing ;)

Your new cards are gorgeous x

Think I had better put looking at those stamps on the back burner for a few weeks;)

Thank-you for your comments on the new cards. I love the Imaginisce papers and bought quite a few and the stamps but have only just got round to using them. Luckily I found a pink ink pad in my stash and it matched the paper :D

Melissa Yes I did ink round the edges and the stamp is a snag ems one 99p

Mrs Tidge Your space card is fab, great for a boy. I bet he loved it. Good luck for your walk tonight. x
