Here is my entry for the challenge, not entirely happy with it but it's ok. It's the shiny die cut decoupage and it's not really my thing, I didn't know what to put behind it so it got plain black card.
that's so lovely flourgirl, the fairy really stands out against the simple, clean background :T0 -
beautiful cards mumhug, myzdamena & rainmac - npsmama I love your FD cake!!

Morning All
I'm surprised we're up & running I just missed posting last night as they shut MSE down so I expect it will be a bit quiet......
Anyway, I just want to say a big THANK YOU to EmmaOC for the fantastic card she sent me for the June 'Pink' challenge. It is lovely & so pretty.....mmm cupcakes see what you think.......0 -
Saveapenny - I love your photos, in the midst of a heatwave they made me feel cool! You could use them on Christmas cards. I can't see anything wrong with the hats....if you are so cold it doesn't matter how they look.....we once went to Florida & bought jumpers & coats for the same reason - it was so cold the oranges were falling off the trees.
Npsmama, Mumhug, Myzdamena & Rainmac your cards are really good sorry if I've missed anyone out - failing memory -
Welcome myzdamena I'm Ooop North too but not as far up as you, rusty & bunbun.0 -

Morning all. I'm sorry I'm so behind with comments on cards; I feel guilty for not commenting when I enjoy seeing them all so much, I'm just not feeling very 'talkative' at the moment IYKWIM.
Just thought I'd post to let you know of the bargains I picked up in Hobbycraft yesterday - card bags are half price, so 100 bags was £3.** instead of £6.** (sorry, can't remember exactly!). They also had packs of 50 bags at half price. I bought an x-cut border system for £3.** also, then got home and discovered that only 3 of my punches are actually x-cut ones.
The only reason I went to Hobbycraft was to buy some lace to use on an engagement card. My friend who I normally just give my cards to asked me to make a card for her and insisted that she would pay me for it. I made her 3 cards to choose from, and she's buying 2 of them - 1 for the engagement and 1 for a wedding she has coming up. She's offered to pay £2.50 each - I think she felt guilty when I told her how my other friend had paid me for cards.
Saveapenny - I love your photos (how cute were those towel animals?!). The scenery looks stunning - but do you know why there were lots of people waving flags on their balconies?
Myzdamena - cruddy cards my ar*e!! Your cards are fantastic - you now have another follower.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
WOW Marg!! lucky you, EmmaOCs cupcake card is gorgeous, I love the way she has used the threading water punch to make the cake stand.
Rainmac I love your wallet card, I just knew you would love making one (several lol) did you decorate the inside with papers too, I think I will try it on the next one especially if I want to sell them. What do you think?
Jailhouse it sound like you got a couple of bargains there. I'm still waiting for my card bags to come from Craft superstore I got them from their ebay cheaper and only 75p postage 50 large square bags £2-15
