Thanks, Maytaurus, for the links, they look interesting.

Another good ink that will give you a really sharp outline especially if there is a lot of fine detail is Versafine. I use this for all my images and you can watercolour with it. I've got the Stamping Up markers and Sakura pens and it works very well. I thinking about getting just the flesh tones in the Copics, anyone tried them?

    Bunbun - I have emailed you :D

Flourgirl - Wow, what a great prize. Happy crafting with everything :D

Paddingtondoo - Lovely cards on your blog, I love the CP Summer one and the story behind it. Barnaby looks so cool - all he needs is a cocktail in his hand ! :rotfl: Did you hand stitch around the Summer Sun sentiment or use a sewing machine ?

Skiergirl - Looking forward to seeing your new bits on your blog

I have packed away all my craft bits (just for a day !) so you can see my dining room table. I am already itching to get it out again and have settled with the ironing instead !

Emma I am so glad your DH is coming home safe and well, 7 months is a long time for him to be away so I don't suppose we will hear much from you for the next few days;) Maybe he will take the kids out one day so you can get on with some crafting on your lovely clean dining table :D

I have my fingers crossed Flourgirl ! When he was home at the end of April for 2 weeks R and R he could not quite understand the concept of taking two children out at the same time :rotfl: My 2nd son who is now 4 months old has arrived since he went away so they have only spent a few weeks together. We all have a lot of "family" time to catch up on and I cannot wait. He will have to get used to there being 5 in the family now though, him, me, DS1, DS2 and card making :rotfl:

Emma - they're fabric stickers - they're on the card just the way they came out of the packet. The sticky pads weren't up to much but with an A4 sheet full for 99p I can't complain :D.

I just replaced them with £ shop ones :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

I know this is very much off topic but I just had to share this bizarre experience with you all
so there I was lying in bed, drifting off to sleep with the radio on when I heard a news story about an air cadet leader being struck by lightening. I smiled a little - I normally have a little panic when the air cadets are mentioned as my BIL is an officer there.
Imagine my surprise when I heard the person being interviewed - it was my uncle!
Honestly thought I had dreamt it for a while was so surreal

Spoke to him last night - he's fine but I couldnt stop myself from laughing when he was telling me about drifting in and out of consciousness saying "sausages".
    Bless him!
He's been quite poorly recently with cancer so I've already made him one get well card this year. Better get crackin with another I suppose
