Here's a card I made at Saturdays card making class, loved this as we did triple embossing, three layers of embossing powder onto a cardboard flower and then we inked up another stamp with silver and then stamped the silver onto the embossed flower making an impression, looks much better than the photo, We also ruched some ribbon which looks brilliant but very easy to do.

Hope its not a walloping great picture

Hello all - sorry I haven't been on for the last week; I'll not bore you with the details but just really haven't been up to much of anything :(

I've made a card for the challenge, I'll post it later this evening when I have a bit more time. I'll also go through and catch up on all the posts I've missed, I'm sure there's lots! I haven't forgotten that I offered to do a draw and send a little something to the winner, so I'll make a list of all entries, publish it, then not do the draw until tomorrow evening in case I miss anyone out (that should give them time to let me know).

I've also just posted 2 cards on my blog for the CCC challenge.

    I'll be back later!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

The_wife - lovely card - I really like the effect of the triple embossing. I too love how you've "ruched" the ribbon - I need to try different things with ribbon 'cos I can't for the life of me tie a decent bow.

Okay ladies BARGAIN ALERT (well I think so anyway!!!). I just managed to get a fiskers border punch for 5.85 with free delivery - from Amazon!!! The design is a bit bigger than I wanted but its really pretty and for that price I don't care!! It doesn't punch through card but its fine on paper and punches through the thick basic grey paper. These normally sell for about 8-10 quid but I've seen them in some places for 12 quid:

Where do you get the pads of paper to put inside:confused:

They had packs of either 4 or 5 in the pound shop last week in pastel colours
    The Range sell them
I think Tesco do their own and they def do the real post it ones, WH Smiths, probably the post office, Staples, Asda anywhere that does stationary really.

I bought a pack of 6 oblong pads in The Range yeaterday for 60p
