Hi again!!
Does anyone here have any experience of either xcut impress (seen it v cheap but not got all the dies I want) or the cuttlebug (has some fab dies but costs much more!!)??? Or do I just buy some more punches???
Also would these be cheaper in the USA does anyone know???
Thanks for advice xxx
Replied on Thrifty gifty girls - its quite heavy so not sure how you would get along with your luggage limit - dies are loads cheaper in the US though.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I am afraid that my argument with a mincer went in the bin as with many others lol. Any ways I made another card and would like to submit it for the challenge. Again its another test me playing around with colours and styles in one card.
It's not fantastic quality as I had to scan the image into my Pc. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

thanks for everyones kind comments re my cards!
melissa - I've been physically making cards since about october last year but spent several months before that reading about it online and on craft forums, picking up fantastic tips and inspiration (not to mention spending buying lots of pretty stuff!) before being brave enough to take the plunge myself, so to speak!
furrypig - I quite agree about some stuff being just too nice to use. that silver cardstock is from an A4 sheet and I only used half for the wedding card, I am still deciding how to use the other half!
ZLS - great card, looks like a mini scrapbook page! love the butterflies with the skeleton leaves underneath, I am a real butterfly gal! what animal is that in the photograph?
I always feel that my cards tend to look very 'organised' with lots of straight lines, my new years resolution is to try and be a bit more spontaneous!0 -
ZLS1984 - what a fab card! I too love the butterflies on the leaves, and the papers and embellishments look really pretty together.
Gemm85 - I have the same trouble with my cards. I tend to use the same layout on each one, but I have been trying with my latest ones to do something a little different.0 -
Thanks,
I think the animal is a weasel but not too sure, I got it out of a wild life mag that I got through the post. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
