Thanks to all for your welcome messages!
very pretty card Rainmac, I love to cross stitch too, it always adds a little extra something, but can be time consuming too. wish I had the time to add it to more of my cards! hope everything goes ok with your mum.
I love how some of you colour in stamped images, whenever I colour something myself I can never seem to get the shading quite right. something for me to improve on in the future I think
after spending this morning getting to grips with photobucket, here's a few cards I have made recently:
made a few Valentines cards but I think this one is my fave:
This next card is I think my favourite one that I've made so far, the purple paper is covered with acetate and the flowers and gems are stuck to the acetate:
And this is the card I would like to enter for this weeks challenge, made a few days ago, I absolutely adore this patterned cardstock:
I hope the size of the pics is Ok, they should be clickable to open a larger version!0 -
Gemm85 - gorgeous cards. Have you really only been making cards for a few months? You really have an eye for what colours work well together. I love the lilac one with the pretty ribbon and the sparkly sequins. The cardstock on your wedding one is lovely - it looks really shiny.0

Ha ha ha :rotfl: Rusty my daughter didn't like the image and said it would be mean to send it to someone and I said it reminded me of me!! I'm also partial to a glass or 5 of wine and I'm not a petite gal and have been known for showing a bit of clevage!!!
I love it :T0 -

Oh and I had better ask where is the cheapest place to buy them from?
Pinkladymel has a stamping tutorial on her blog and she used whispers pen/brush things and they look fab! On www.craftsuperstore.co.uk they are bogof so you can get 20 pens for the price of 10 (£10 instead of £20!!) they have lots in their sale so v easy to spend £40 to get free delivery (or is that just me) I got my order this morning and it was very exciting! It came very quickly plus the paper that Rainmac used onher card my daughter got that one and the 6x6 pad is only 99p!

Hello to Gemm85!!! Looking forward to seeing/hearing about some of your cards
Bunbun - where's your card?
Rusty - fab card, I love it!
I've made another one and would like to submit this one for the challenge as I've thought about it rather than throw it together like the 4 I posted before  The flower and wording is cross stitched...
The card is for the lovely melissa to congratulate her on her fab baby newsWill post it to you next week lady
I also have some cr*ppy news to share if that's ok. My mum got her results from her second boob op yesterday and she's going to need a mastectomy. I so feel for her I can't put it into words as she's already been through a lot and has another operation to go through. It is just so unfair. Ok, that's my moan over, sorry
Beautiful card Rainmac, my dd age 10 asked for the same papermania papers which arrived this morning I think those are the raspberry ones?? She already had the amythest.
So sorry to hear about your mum and her upcoming surgery sending lots of hugs your way xxx0 -
