Lovely cards Lucy:T I especially love the butterfly one. I think you are very brave handwriting on your cards, but I do think it gives that personal touch and I'm sure your Dad is going to love his Fathers day card. It's perfect for the challenge too. Well Done :)

Good price for the basic grey Melissa, pity I already have those :( Good job I'm away next week as it's stopping me ordering anything. I am calling at the paper mill shop though next week so will be able to get a box of mixed card stock. I love the hammered finished card they sell. :)

    Thank you Dawnteabag!

All I did was score some of the card diagonally with a craft knife (a pink and purple one from Poundland, I love it) but I didn't score it hard enough to cut it out. I then folded it and used a glue runner to stick the tip of the card down. It held fine and I didn't need to glue anything else but put the heart and flowers on as decoration. I'm really pleased with it and will try it again.

Rusty - I found a few 6x6 basic grey pads for 3.49, the only drawback is that postage is 2.95:

I think its about time I did some more cards instead of just buying stash!:rotfl:(I'm awaiting a Cuttlebug, needs to come before Sunday when hubby is back from China! :D:j)

You have reminded me that I bought one of those fill a box of card from The Works last week. (Mean assistant took some out!) I WILL make a father's day card this week for the challenge. There I've said it now, can't go back on it! :D

Thankyou Fifi, I need to get down either this week or next as I want to do a chilli basket for OH for fathers day ....

How about chilli seeds so you can grow your own plants?

Ok so I have edited your post .....
I only have 2  and the odd single sheet of others which you and also Flourgirl very kindly donated to me :D
I would love all of them!! I have to admit, when you and rainmac first started off with them I wondered what all of the hype was about and thought you were both crazy ....

But the quality is absolutely lovely! they are so thick and do actually match with the papers in the rest of the pack unlike some others that claim to ;) They are my faves ever in the whole world :rotfl:

I am actually hoping my grandad sends me some pennies for my birthday (he normally asks but hasn't this year so I think he might have bought me something) if he sends me pennies I will order a couple of other pads ;)

Crazy, what do you mean

    When's your birthday Rusty? :D

It's a good day for cards today :) Has it been raining everywhere?
Lucy Lu - a very elegant card, and a lovely thought to co-ordinate with their wedding colours.
Popkins - I love your football card, I'm sure the recipient will as well.
SallyUK - The black and white works really well for a birthday card; as npsmama said, it makes a nice change from the usual pastels. I really like your sympathy card, luckily I've not had to make one yet.
Rainmac - Another fantastic card, you certainly have a midas touch :)

Thomas - very impressive! You've only been at this card-making malarky for 2 days and already you're producing perfect cards. Your teacher will be very happy I'm sure x

npsmama - thanks for the link, I have a basket waiting for me to checkout :o. Hey, it's all sale stuff and it's free p&p - it would be rude not to! BTW - piglets?

Having set the challenge this week, would anyone mind if I draw the winner and put together a little goody bag? Nothing special, just bits & pieces.

Quick edit - I'm having trouble getting on blogs tonight, I'll try to catch up and leave comments soon!

    Thanks Jailhouse :D

A goody bag sounds fab if that's ok with you ;)
