Making cards - Ideas for a card craft beginner (part 2)

I was looking through ebay at the flowers - (I fancied a change from the normal ones that I use), and I noticed that poppycrafts have a shop on there. I remembered that a lot of you had recommended them on here, and that a few of you loved the spotty flowers which came in other packs, well I noticed that on ebay she sold a pack just of the spotty flowers so I thought some of you may be interested. Apologies if she sells this on her site already, the link is:

Rusty - they really are gorgeous papers aren't they?? I'll keep my eye out for any offers that I see on them!
SallyUk - your cards are fab. I think the baby one is my favourite - it looks perfect using the black/white papers because it compliments the picture so well.
Thomas - I would love to see more of your creations on here - your card is fantastic - I'm sure your teacher will love it - well done!!!0 -
Great cards as always everyone. Will go blog hopping shortly. Thought I would post a link for a great site that has decoupage and loads of football papers / stuff. It is a lovely lady who goes on docrafts site and shares her stuff. Great for making football cards, just click on football stuff
Forgot link

Well Thomas has asked me to post this one for him again (do any of you ladies mind that I post these? he is really happy at being able to do the same as me. if it is a problem please let me know and I will just post them on my blog for him)
The papers was one donated from Flourgirl (thankyou) Card candy from 2 different packs, the image was donated from Hamish (thankyou) and the flowers donated from craftygranny (thankyou) (Wow I am so lucky!)
This is the card he has made for his teacher

Wow Thomas, you are really clever at making cards, this is beautiful! Your teacher will be very impressed with this card! Well done, Thomas!
Thanks for commenting on my cards too, Rusty, all opions are really appreciated.
Thanks to you too, Flourgirl, Lucy, CT, nspmama, Dragonflew, and Melissa - sorry if I've forgotten anyone!
Ct - did you mean the paper that's on the D & D card? It's a D & D paper pad, I seen it in the craft shop last weekend.

It's a good day for cards today
Has it been raining everywhere?
Lucy Lu - a very elegant card, and a lovely thought to co-ordinate with their wedding colours.
Popkins - I love your football card, I'm sure the recipient will as well.
SallyUK - The black and white works really well for a birthday card; as npsmama said, it makes a nice change from the usual pastels. I really like your sympathy card, luckily I've not had to make one yet.
Rainmac - Another fantastic card, you certainly have a midas touch
Thomas - very impressive! You've only been at this card-making malarky for 2 days and already you're producing perfect cards. Your teacher will be very happy I'm sure x
npsmama - thanks for the link, I have a basket waiting for me to checkout
. Hey, it's all sale stuff and it's free p&p - it would be rude not to! BTW - piglets?
Having set the challenge this week, would anyone mind if I draw the winner and put together a little goody bag? Nothing special, just bits & pieces.
Quick edit - I'm having trouble getting on blogs tonight, I'll try to catch up and leave comments soon!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

Rusty - I found a few 6x6 basic grey pads for 3.49, the only drawback is that postage is 2.95:
