Thankyou ladies, appreciate all of the support.

I am wondering if anywhere can recommend the cheapest/best place to buy basic grey lime rickey papers? preferably a 6x6 pad? I have just discovered it on ebay and love the look of the papers.

    Thankyou in advance.

Super cards all of you :T Clever lot and all I managed today was one card for MIL...........two hours it took me -she'd better like it.......lol:rotfl:

Had such a headache by the time I'd finished..........does anyone ever get a bit 'heady' after using pritt stick or is it just me ?

Rusty - what an awful day for you. But it will get sorted...........these things normally do in the end.
Least you managed to get yourself back to some sort of 'normality'
Just watch that leg and take care.

queenbee - 20 miles from skegness I am...............not close enough for that bloomin' cold east wind that we laughlingly call 'bracing sea air'.......:rotfl:
It's not so much getting 'high' on the wretched glue but feeling a bit on the drowsy side............or maybe at my age I should be having afternoon naps.................lol:rotfl:

Rusty - www.everymomentmatters.co.uk have basic grey lime rickey for £5.25 a pack if thats any good

This a funny card done in a rush for MIL's hairdresser who only likes funny cards.

Those cards are great, Marg, well done!

Can I call this my 'green' MSE challenge card please? I agonised over it - eventually decided it would have to do for my friends birthday today but it seemed so heavy when it was done I took it round last night rather than risk the postmen charging her for it! The bottom flower & stems were from craftwork cards, the 70 I made myself:eek: using scalloped circles and chalks and the others were papermania ones I've had for ever. The card base also came from craftwork cards and I printed the yellow background - only the very tips of the back 'missed' the ink.

All these May birthdays!! This was a topper I got off a card sent to me (very MSE) so I scanned it and made a pretty background of my own with flowers etc. Phew! almost glad its over!!

    Hi Marg

I love these two cards, they're so professional looking too - I especially love that bottom one!

Rainmac - I sorted so much rubbish out yesterday I feel so much better!! Trouble is though we had a new bed delivered today so I had to help OH put it together - so I'm exhausted again!!
Sallyuk - not cheeky at all - I don't think I've got anything in red - I'll have a check!!! Your card is lovely - I like how you've decorated the inside - and I love that shade of purple.
Saveapenny - beautiful challenge card - I love your subtle colours and those fabric yellow flowers are fab!
CT19720 - what a fantastic job - restoring tapestries at Hampton Court!!! A stitched card would be very suitable!! I love your green card!
Gemm - hope you have a fab holiday!
Rusty - fantastic cards - I'm glad you liked the paper (it was from the sultry range), great way of using the card candy. Good luck to your OH, and I hope court went okay today.
Furrypig - great idea - but I'd rather just give it away on here - much less effort!!!
Mumhug - great cards - I love the rock hard fairies - they're such original images!
EmmaOC - sorry to hear your sad news.
Marg - great cards, the "funny" one is my favourite!

    Thanks Melissa!

P.S. Thanks to everyone else too who commented on my latest card, I'm off to hide in the cupboard from the thunder and lightning _pale_ but hopefully it won't last long and I can get back on later!

Hi Sal It's thundering and lightening here in South Yorkshire too. I'm sat looking out of the lounge window over towards the airport and there are some super lightening flashes, there hasn't been any flying at all today everyone must have been diverted.

Mary you make me smile.... your'e a real tonic, and there is nothing wrong in having a power nap in a afternoon, so my DH keeps telling me!:rotfl:

Marg 2 more lovely cards, both really pretty.:T:T My favourite one is the 70th one.

Bun bun yes please, thats really kind of you :Abut don't worry if you change your mind and don't go. I am going to York next weekend so can try there.

Fab cards Kim love the purple one with the animals and cupcakes:T:T

    Thank-you Rusty, I'm sending you a little something tomorrow.:A

Kim_possible - lovely cards - I think my favourite is the first one - I really like that stamped image - its so cute!
Rusty - I haven't seen them cheap anywhere - I think its because they're a relatively new product. The only thing I can suggest is that you try and find it somewhere that is offering free postage. I'm sure theglitterpot sell it, but I think its about 6 quid. Sorry you've had a crappy day.
Furrypig - I'll happily send you a few bits for Molly, I would have only just thrown the stuff in the bin because I just have too much stuff!! PM me your address and I'll get it sent off next week. Any other takers?????
Well, I finally caved in and ordered some things from the craft superstore. I spent just over 40 quid, I got the xcut guillotine, an xcut corner rounder (sorry for copying you Rainmac), some medium brads - I love this size for the centre of flowers, some cheap ribbon sets and 2 basic grey 6x6 pads - lime rickey (sorry Rusty), and wisteria - they were about 6 quid each, (just over a fiver with the 15% off).
