npsmama - I've got one of those circle punches, I got it from HomeBargains ages ago for about 2 quid. I have to confess though that I think I've used it about twice! I've just recently got into using punches - border ones and corner ones - I have used some on most of my latest cards although its a bit difficult to see from the photos. I am really tempted by the lace punch in your second link - I think I would use that loads!
Mary - thanks. I think I'll be ordering a few bits from there.

Oh Im realy sorry Craftygran, I didnt see that bit ( serves me right for reading late at night) Hope you feel better soon , I know how miserable that can make you, I had it a few weeks back, it took a week to go and IV antibiotic
The doctore told me to not alway keep it up and you need to move it to improve the circulation which promotes good healing so I would try and do at least 10 minutes each hour either walking or just ankle and leg flexes and drink plenty of water

Marg...I use 160gsm from staples ( own brand) its about £6 for 250 sheets but I stock up when its 2 for 1 ;)

I have just noticed that they are holding some 'Max' Papercraft shows in the next few weeks/months. I think they are Nottingham based so the shows are all around that area. I cannot find a website for the show itself but found the dates on a website called Craft-e-Liza.com. UK Scrappers give it quite good reviews. Has anyone been to them - are they worth going to ?

So much to catch up on! Darned coursework has been getting in the way of crafting , but I've taken some time to make an easter card for the creative card crew challenge - it's over on my blog if anyone would like to have a look.

npsmama, EmmaOC and Dragonllew - I'm following your blogs now, (I thought I was already following yours Dragonllew; not sure what happened there :o). I'll try to leave some comments later - after I've done some more coursework :(

npsmama - Hope the children get over their chickenpox soon, it's horrible when your children are ill. Try not to let the MIL get to you ;). Back to the blog; great cards - but I'm not sure I get the point of ATCs? Maybe someone can tell me what they're for?

EmmaOC - You're so creative, but I see you share my wonky photo syndrome :rotfl:All that effort to make a nice card and then we can't take a decent piccie of it

Dragonllew - fab cards, will have a longer look at the blog later!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Great cards Skiergirl! Your cutting out on the decoupage is so neat. Is there a name for the technique used on the last card with the roses? I love it!
