Thanks everyone for your nice comments on my blog

Rainmac that would be lovely if your sure you dont mind. I have some faux gem ones if you like I can send you some of those and I have some small pearl ones
Just let me know and will send you some

The bookatrix cards are realy very easy and dont take a lot of work at all. It was the little bunch of flowers that took the time I just couldnt get them right. Usualy I edge all the pages with peel offs which usualy what takes the time and waiting for the box to dry

Im stil finding feathers all over the place because once you cut them the bits fly everywhere

I so know what you mean about the feathers! One of the wedding card designs I make uses feathers and in all different colours. The last feather set I made was with red feathers - found bits of red fluff in the house for days afterwards

I'll do a selection of colours for the sliders. Should be able to cut them later today or tomorrow.

I think I am up to date with everyone's blogs. Fab cards saveapenny and Rainmac - I've left comments. I keep meaning to but some feathers but I've never got round to it.
Good luck to everyone for the creative card crew challenge - I hope one of you wins!!! I wonder what the next challenge will be??
Rainmac - what sort of stamps were you after???
Bunbun - lovely card - the black and the white together looks really sophisticated.
I managed to make a couple of things this weekend - a card and another notebook -everyone's going to be so sick of me and my notebooks soon!! They're not on my blog yet 'cos I'm lazy - but I'll get that done today.

Clear unmounted stamps I think as I have acrylic blocks. Bought a few for 99p from CraftsULove and they are brilliant but free p&p stopped now :(

Have bought a couple of mini stamp sets from ebay this morning with little swirls and flourishes, they look really nice and great for the money - £1.49 a set inc p&p :D

I'm looking forward to the Creative Card Crew challenge as well as they are making me think outside the box so to speak making things I probably wouldn't normally try.

Looking forward to seeing your new bits on your blog mel and no we won't get bored of looking at your notebooks as they are beautiful :D

Well here are some pretty dodgy photos of my latest efforts.

The top one was my first credit crunch effort which only stood me at an A5 card & envelope, 20p the image was one I lifted from my Xmas Pudding box and added some words. Going in the bin now.

The bottom one credit crunch was an image I already had on the pc to which I added some butterflies and a bow 10p max plus card @20p On reflection both pretty poor.

The middle one has cost me hours and hours! as my first plan failed. It wasn't a credit crunch one even though it looks that way! I 'pinched' CT19720's idea of a wordle including the recipients name with the football team he supports and used the team colours to mount it. I put the team badge on the inside courtesy of saveapenney. I think he'll like it........it does look better in 'real life' than the photo.

End of Easter term report reads "marg must do better":rotfl:

Marg - don't be daft - they look great!!
Rainmac - I'll keep my eyes peeled for deals on stamps, and thanks for saying that you won't get bored!
Hels - the machines are expensive to buy, its really worth hunting for the cheapest deal. Some shops sell them for 60 quid, but I managed to get mine for 33 quid with free postage. The covers that you buy are dear, and I don't really see the point of buying them when you could use chipboard or thick cardboard and save yourself the money. The wires aren't too bad, a lot of shops sell them in singles and doubles rather that packs of 6. If you're interested let me know and I'll post some links.
