I can't wait for EE tonight either
might try and make some easter cards in the corner whilst watching, really need to get on with them!
smicheals - glad to hear you're feeling a little better :j
skiergirl - fab thrifty card, those papers are so funky
she grinch - lovely card, I'm sure your nephew will be pleased even if he might not display it, I have a younger brother so I know teenage lads have their problems showing gratitude :rotfl:0 -
forgot to mention before - another thrilled creative craft world customer here! I ordered some wild blossom papers and ribbon and some mulberry flowers on wednesday night and it was all waiting for me through my letterbox when I got home from work today
fantastic fast service and you get so many sheets of the papers I think they are really good value for £2.99 :T
have had an idea for my thrifty challenge card so I'm off to make that now, the easter cards will just have to wait, this is more important :rotfl:0 -

Saveapenny - Yes, it does help THANK YOU
Thank goodness I looked on here before they shut us down for the weekend.
I'm sorry I haven't got that heart you are after but will have a look after we've eaten if I can find any hearts.0 -
Sorry saveapenny - no hearts here. I wish I had, it would be nice to give something back!
Marg - I forgot we were being cast out for the weekend
Oh well, I hope everyone has a good weekend. I hope the weather's as good as it has been here today.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
melissa - thanks for letting me know where the papers are from - off to do some online shopping methinks
flourgirl - it was me looking for help with a new home card. Marg very kindly sent me some stuff to print off, but when I came to do the card the printer wouldn't work:mad: so I had to improvise
s_michaels - glad you're feeling a bit better
Marg and Furrypig - I don't watch EE and don't have a blog either
saveapenny - good luck at the hospital, hope they sort you out. Sorry I can't help with your stamp
shegrinch - great cards :T0 -
I thought I'd better get a post in quick before we got shut down!!!
Skiergirl - I got the papers from the glitter pot, it was one of those 12x12 paper packs for 7.49, I'm not sure if there's any left. (also see below for crafters cove offer).
Saveapenny - sorry I can't help you either. Hope your kidney problems get sorted out soon.
gemm85 - I got rather teary at tonight's episode of eastenders - why couldn't they let her live?
Paddingtondoo - those pens sound fab!
The crafters cove is offering free postage if you spend over 10 quid and if you use this code you get 10% off: Scooby
http://www.crafterscove.co.uk/
they have lots of new kids decoupage sheets and backing papers in - the clangers, scooby doo, bagpuss, looney tunes and ivor the engine. They also stock a few of the basic grey pads for 4.99, but with the discount and free postage they work out at 4.49 each, which isn't too bad - they have eva, two scoops and offbeat. The archaic, sultry, sugared, cupcake and boxer ones are cheaper at the glitter pot so don't buy those from here! The offer finishes midnight on Monday.0 -
Lovely cards everyone. Glad to hear that you are on the mend S_Michaels, just make sure you take it easy.
Skiergirl I love your new home one - well done and done for just 3p!
Melissa - absolutely love your notebooks they look fab.
Dragonllew your card is fantastic and it really is amazing what can be used and found around the house.
She grinch - what a lovely card - hope he appreciates it.
Saveapenny - sorry I can't help with a heart punch for you, but hope that you find something suitable soon. Good luck at the hospital too - I'm sure that we will all have our fingers and toes cross for you.
I'm glad I am not the only one without a blog, not sure that I will get around to doing one either - but you never know, with the site being down all weekend, I may get a chance to look into it.
Wishing everyone a good weekend - i've got a couple more easter cards to do, and mock up for wedding invites I've offered to make. Hope the weather stays nice as we are off to legoland on Sunday for the day, as it was DS2 birthday today, and that is what he wanted to do - never been before, so not sure what to expect.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Warning don't look at this unless you are willing to spend some money!!! But docrafts have added loads more basic grey 12x12 papers to their sale. Loads more ranges granola, ambrosia, eva, and urban prairie all of which are fabulous. There's not as many embellishments as last time but I recommend getting some of the alphabets even if you don't have the range of papers especially the mini letters as they come in really handy on other projects. Postage is a bit steep at 3.99.

here's an example of the useful alphabets:
