the windows are a bit wonky but it is handmade!!

Well done bunbun, it's fab :T
I've finished my challenge card, but won't post it until the morning as I can never take a decent photo at night! I've worked out the cost - 6p; that was for the card and envelope as part of a set of 50 - so would be even cheaper if you discount the envelope :D
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Hi guys, was hoping for some opinions please, trying to design some invitations for a 60th birthday party in lemon and white. Haven't got the full wording yet which is why they just say 60th Birthday.

I was told that a crysanthemum is the flower for November which is when her birthday is.

Some are A5 and some are A6 designs.
oh and Thanks to saveapenny for one of the backgrounds

they should be clickable thumbnails I think so will go bigger if need be

    hiya S_michaels

my fav is definitely the yellow one with the chrysanthemum coming out from the right side!

I think they are all great but that is my personal fav well done!

I really love this card! Did you do it all freehand or did you use a template?? I really love it!!

Well I guess it will count as the challenge if you used recycled/cheap/bargain/downloaded bits otherwise it might be cheating a bit!!! I only say that cos if I made a card with bits I already have it isn't necessarily a credit crunch card as I have lotsa stuff that I paid lotsa £££ for!! But I guess it's better to use it than buy new stuff or are all the bits 'offcuts' etc little bits that could have been thrown away???

I know it was my ideas but I'm not sure!! I guess an easy way would be to say how much it cost you?? So that might give us an ideas of how money saving it is!

What does everyone else think?? I would love to know how much cards cost as they look so expensive!! But not including payment for time as I can take ages as I'm not really naturally creative and I have to work at these things!!!

evening all! I just don't know where the time has gone since I got home from work today, have done a load of washing and made some fudge, have just finished dinner and looked at the clock and it's almost 9! so no need for me to say that I've got no cards made tonight :rotfl:

dragonllew - you have made lots of lovely cards, have left you a blog comment ;)

well done melissa!!! thats great news, its so lovely for someone to win and I actually know who they are!! congrats!! :T

saveapenny, great easter and men's cards, I especially like the watch one, have left you blog comments :)

s_michaels those invites are lovely, my fave is the second one down with the faded block in the middle, I think it looks stunning

bunbun that house card is really funky, the recipient will be really pleased with it :T

I think the idea for a credit crunch card is a great one, not sure what I'll use yet though, I may have a dig around the house and try to use some recycled stuff ;)

I have to say, it was only that cheap because everything used was given to me :p:p (big thanks again to saveapenny and freecycler deb!)
But I have added a homemade flower as the main embellishment, so hopefully showing what can be done without expensive gadgets such as cuttlebugs, quickutz, etc.
