Have just updated my blog with the bookmarks I made this weekend, you can see them here

I have had a great time his morning with my new stash, making cards with the scalloped edged ones. I will post them later when DH comes home with the camera.

Glad you managed to send your order Marg. I don't think you will be dissapointed with the quality.

Well - how many hours later??? I unexpectedly went shopping to the Asda, the OH is sick and I had to go on a mercy mission for some medicine. I had a check and I won a 10 quid voucher for craftsulove - so I'm really happy, is it cheeky to wait until they have a free postage offer on and use it then????
I'm waiting for my order of more scalloped cards to come and my legless brads, hope it comes tomorrow! I also spent about 18 quid at creativecraftworld and got tons of brazil cardstock and some smirk papers.

I think we should go with the idea of a money saving card for this fortnight's challenge as has been suggested by Furrypig. It would be great to calculate how much we've spent making the card. So it can either be made using recycled items, sale bargains or downloads - does that sound okay? I might struggle as when it comes to my card making I'm not very MSE. Also to share my joy at winning I'll offer a prize - I'll just pick a name at random and the winner will get some crafting goodies. It'll probably be loads of patterned papers as I have loads but I'll ask whoever wins what they need and I'll see if I've got anything spare.

Hi guys, was hoping for some opinions please, trying to design some invitations for a 60th birthday party in lemon and white. Haven't got the full wording yet which is why they just say 60th Birthday.

I was told that a crysanthemum is the flower for November which is when her birthday is.

Some are A5 and some are A6 designs.
oh and Thanks to saveapenny for one of the backgrounds

They are lovely...I think I like the crysanthemum one best at the bottom
Done in postcard size and maybe gold gilt edged

Saveapenny have you ever tried re-sizing any of the PP images to make toppers for smaller cards?

S_Michaels it's my birthday in November and I didn't know about the crysanthamum but the birth stone is yellow topaz

gilt edge ...you can buy like a gold leaf and then you run a glue border round the edge and press the gold in ..or you can use an embosing pen and then sprikle gold embosing powers on

Flourgirl...I do re size then but I use publisher but if you print them out using windows picture gallery just click the 1/2 page
Not knowing what programs you have I wouldnt know how to help s-michael might beable to help more shes far better on graphics than me
