Thanks sadly only one kind left now!! I really want to get some of these cheaply but might give up for a bit!! I just think it might help me to start with an 'easy' way of doing the kit but don't want to pay a fortune!!

What a lovely card sunrise. I always try to give a little something to the big brothers/sisters when a new baby arrives, but have never thought if giving them their own card.
Here's the card I made last night for DD's friend. It's my first scalloped card and my first Smirk card. The image, sentiment and heart ribbon are all Smirk. I didn't do a very good job with the ribbon around the image, but hey - it's a handmade card. It adds to the uniqueness
I've also posted an entry for Creative Card Crew on my blog, if anyone wants to have a look.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Lovely card sunrise I love the lilac castle
Jailhouse, cute simrk card. Is the pink paper a handmade one. Don't worry about the ribbon, handcrafted cards are not meant to be perfect.
Love the birdie card on your blog too.0 -
Great cards on blogs everyone.
Melissa glad to hear that you are feeling better.
Sorry to hear about your tooth Gemm85, glad you have been able to sort it out so quickly.
The other 3 are Easter cards, that were made out of 'scrap' sizes of cards I had. Thanks for the the tip Saveapenny about colouring in the Pink Petticoat free downloadables, the instructions you posted up worked a treat.
Not sure I like the bigger easter card - think it is missing something, but not sure what, but do really like the smaller ones.
Great cards CT. I think your son will love his footy card, and your easter cards are gorgeous, really pretty colours:T0 -
Hi flourgirl. No, it's not handmade. It was in with a load of paper that a freecycler gave me this week and has a lovely crinkled texture.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

Hello everyone,
Lovely cards as per usual!
I remember seeing a fab upsy daisy card on here a while back, I need to make a card for a 2yr old next month and she loves in the night garden!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
Thanks bunbun
It's a stamp from Smirk's Naughty and Nice range, coloured in with a pink glittery gel pen. I'm usually rubbish at stamping so was reluctant to buy any, I couldn't resist that set though. I bought the quickcutz rocker to attach the stamps to & I think that's what has made the difference. It's so much easier to use than an acrylic block.
Welcome to the thread kim possible :hello: I've only been doing this really since Christmas. I started out buying a cheap set of ready-scored cards and envelopes, some embellishments and cheap punches. I really just add bits as I go along and when there's a good sale on somewhereFlourgirl posted a link to a cheap paper pad seller on ebay earlier today, and people are always posting links to online sales. I'm just starting on stamping, and would like to maybe try heat embossing once I've got a bit more cash!
