Lovely cards saveapenny :) Like the pregnant mum one ;)

Sorry ladies I meant to put about my quickutz squeezy thingy. I would like to use it for that. I have a couple of dies and an alphabet and would love different colours which I can just squeeze and then store. Rainmac kindly sent me some which she did and they were beautiful, I want to add to my collection so I can just grab them when I need them.

never thought to look in home bargains, thankyou will have a look.
Not too bothered about colours either, the more colours the better I would say mainly cause then I can have a variety.

we went to a craft shop yesterday and the lady had some beautiful cards for sale
they were very plain and simple and I loved the style
I have used her inspiration to try something new but why is it my plain and simple card looks as though it has something missing ???

Sunrise 27 What a great card I love the bold bright colours, I always struggle with what to put on a male card, the name is a great idea.:T Love the anniversary card too, your mothers day card looks simple yet elegant :T

Marg I love your gingerbread man card, it brings back lovely memories. I was a childminder for 15 years and have lost count of the times I read the Gingerbread man story, it was a definate favourite. I am sure your card will be a winner with whoever receives it.:T

Saveapenny gorgeous cards as usual. :T Well done on your orders
100cards and nappy cakes:eek: :j your going to be a busy lady, I am confident the inspiration will flow, have fun.:D

Hi Rusty, Hobbycraft sell 12x12 plain cardstock for 49p a sheet (think its 49p), had a nice grain in it like Bazzill cardstock. You can squeeze a lot out of a 12x12 sheet ;)

Sunrise - great card, I really like the bold lettering on it.

Sally - if you have a printer a lot of people just print their sentiments out. Otherwise you could invest in some peel offs for your greetings or simply buy yourself some alphabet stickers. I hope you'll be posting more!!!

Saveapenny - sounds like you're on a roll now with all these orders!! Good luck!!

Rainmac - lovely cards, such a clever idea to use the ribbon as a stem for your flower! I am tempted to order some more lili of the valley stuff, with their 10 die-cut sheets for a tenner offer and free postage over 20 quid ordered!!

Yep, I'm going to look at Lili of the Valley a bit more as I love the stuff I bought at the show - so easy to use and make a card ;)

Love your gingerbread card Marg, he is fab :T

    Beautiful cards saveapenny :D

lovely cards saveapenny, marg and sunrise!

I had such a fantastic time at the NEC today, it was so lovely to see so much crafty stuff in one big place! spent far too much money of course but managed to convince OH that I wont need to buy anything else for months and months :D

have unpacked my purchases and sat and admired them for a while this afternoon whilst letting my poor feet recover!

I got some papermania floral 6x6 paper pads for 79p each, (had the same ones before and they always seem to come in handy somehow lol),

a couple of penny black rubber stamps which I absolutely love, some men's themed decoupage papers, a few x-cut punches, a box of card/paper from payperbox, (they had some pearlescent and patterned ones in the offer too so got a really good selection),

some gorgeous laura ashley papers which have velevty patterns on, some smirk papers, brads, a vast selection of peel off's (like I need any more? oh well :D) and some whispers pens in pastel colours.

It was all very heavy by the time I'd finished! just need to find some time to play with it all now, too bad I work full time else I'd stay up all night to have a play! :rotfl:

must go and get my beauty rest now, hope everyone had a good weekend and back to the weekly slog tomorrow morning!
