    Good Morning Ladies

    Hope everyone is well?

I don't get the chance to post often on here but I do read the thread every day and wanted to say how beautiful everyone's cards are, you're all so clever.

I have been asked to do an Easter card for a friend's grandson who is 2 and I wondered if someone could suggest a nice way of doing the lettering - To My Grandson?

    Thanks again!

    Sal

I made this for my nephew when he became a big brother
my thinking behind it was that everyone remembers a card for the new baby so it would be nice for the big brother or sister to have a special one of their own as well

You, lacking inspiration, I don't believe it ;)

I wasn't sure about joining blogland but thought I'd give it a go and quite like the idea of my crafty bits having a home of their own.

I like the idea as well if someone did it for me :rotfl: :rotfl: was it easy?
Ive made close to 100 cards in the last month s the minds abit dry...lol

Mumhug...first order I had was for 75 day 50 night and 150 order of service ...I nearly passed out, thankfuly it was a very simple design( rose in the emossed heart on PB ), but the last 2 have been alot smaller

Sunrise - great card, I really like the bold lettering on it.

Sally - if you have a printer a lot of people just print their sentiments out. Otherwise you could invest in some peel offs for your greetings or simply buy yourself some alphabet stickers. I hope you'll be posting more!!!

Saveapenny - sounds like you're on a roll now with all these orders!! Good luck!!

Rainmac - lovely cards, such a clever idea to use the ribbon as a stem for your flower! I am tempted to order some more lili of the valley stuff, with their 10 die-cut sheets for a tenner offer and free postage over 20 quid ordered!!

Melissa being the superstar you are at finding things mega cheap ... do you know anywhere where I could get various coloured card from cheap, either 12x12 or A4 or anything? it is just for me to sit and squeeze so would rather it was plain in colour than patterned?
Does anyone else know whilst I am here?

    Lovely cards everyone :)

    Hello
I hope I've got the right idea with this card for the challenge! It was a begger to cut out & remember to leave some way for him to stand up! I've struggled for 2 days now with a 60th card & failed miserably every idea went wrong so who knows he might just get a gingerbread man!:rotfl:Seriously, It's not 'til 25/3 so I've got time to think of something else.

Welcome to the Newcomers - lovely cards! Love the blogs everyone!

Saveapenny - 100+ cards I'm exhausted just doing 5 or 6! Well done getting all those orders.

Sally - to add to what Melissa75 said you can usually find free fonts on the web to download if you want to print the words in a style for a child.

Looks like you all had a great time on Friday - I'm so jealous!
There's something on at Harrogate at the end on the month so might try to go if OH is willing to take me........well, I went to his home improvement show there so I might be lucky.

Rusty - why do you want to sit & squeeze card?
