Still not got around to making the card yet I have now lost my card blanks lol.

Got to buy some more card blanks so that I can make my easter cards. I have started to plan them already and I think they are going to look good.
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.

I do that all the time, go to make something and can't find where an important item is. My stash of stuff is in a right mess which is why I struggle finding things ;)

Rainmac - What a roller coaster of a week for you!
Such good news about your Mum, I bet you can both hardly believe it ~ I'm so pleased for you both.
Sorry to hear about you little boys mishap, collar bones can be so painful as they move just breathing don't they? I hope he's soon fully recovered & bouncing on your bed again - my youngest brother broke his 20 odd years ago when he had a collision with a bus shelter ~ wouldn't mind but he was driving a police car at the time! :rotfl:
Good to hear cat is eating again yes, it is a good sign.
Sorry it's not good to have an OH in the jet set then ~ shame you can't all go with him.
ZLS1984 - thought it was only me that works in a creative 'mess'! I so envy those who have tidy workrooms, tidy anyrooms? Me & OH are both untidy I don't stand a chance.......If you don't find images you want in Saveapennys stash I have some I can put on my photobucket. Don't know if they'll be the same.
Saveapenny - stuff ready to go will post tomorrow

  • Hi all

Rainmac - glad to hear the good news about your mum and im sorry for your little boy. My ds has broken both his colar bones at different times luckily he said that it didnt hurt that much after.
The book card that I made went down really well and everyone said how lovely it was so i was really pleased. Im a bit delicate today because we went up to gateshead for the party, stayed in a grotty travellodge but had a wonderfull time catching up with all my o/h's rellies God they can drink ..
Anyway ive got a few piccys of cards to upload but im on the old laptop and my oh is on the new one so when i can boot him off his i will upload them.

Lovely cards by the way everyone.

I've just come back from a short break in Benidorm and there in the local market were an English couple selling home made cards. They were really lovely, Although I'm a 'crafty' person I'm not a card maker, but they did give me a tip. They use bath silicone instead of sticky pads to attach cut outs that give a 3d effect and small gifts because you don't have to get it right 1st time like you do with pads. also they stuck small biros, key rings, fridge magnets etc onto the cards making it a gift/card for neighbours etc when you don't want to give something big, but feel a small gift would be nice. I expect you carding people know some of this stuff already, but it was a revelation to me
