Well here it is, I am afraid the scanner has not done my card Justice. I promise to photograph it before I send it out. ( I just hope my friend does not come here lol)

The ribbons are Gold and the brads are pink and shiny and the flower has more than one layer.

Fab card ZSL - with all these different styles of cards, I can't decide which one to make!

Received an order today from craftywarehouse, so now have some peek a boo cards and different papers to give all these cards a try. Looking forward to trying the waterfall card.

  • Zoey - Love the geometric design, it's so precise. Well done :T
bunbun - love the card; does anyone else remember when everything in Miss Selfridge had that lips design on? I had the mug and the dressing gown :)

Am I the only one with no1 to make a valentine card for? :(
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Athough I have an OH he doesn't want a handmade card from me - he says he appreciates and likes the cards I do for others but doesn't want one for himself :( so I have not made one - instead he has a cheapo 59p one from the card factory - its the thought that counts:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Busy making a baby congratulations card though for my friend who has just become an auntie and will post a photo in a bit it.

Felt a bit disheartened yesterday when I gave my son's best friend the Man U Card, I posted up for this weeks challenge, and his present. He didn't seem to like the card because he asked why I hadn't bought one for him like 'normal' people. Maybe I took it the wrong way since he is 10, but a thanks for the card and present would have been nice. It certainly has made me think twice about doing cards for kids again.

Hello ZLS1984 & bunbun2 Love both your cards they're so good & completely different styles! Well Done to you both.

Well, my challenge attempts are above, sorry they aren't well photo'd but had to rush in case OH came in & I wanted to delete them as it's HIS camera! As usual, I can see faults in them but am quite pleased with the birthday card as I stuck paper on a card for the very first time!!!! so now maybe I'll look out for some really nice ones.
I've got another couple ready but I'll see how the photos look after tea.
Jailhouse babe - Don't worry about not having anyone to make a valentine card for - it's not always a good thing!

CT19720 -Sorry to hear that I thought it was a super card
Kids can be so hurtful can't they? Usually without meaning to - mind you I've got adult friends who I KNOW would rather have a bought card than something I've spent hours creating (& it does take hours & hours sometimes doesn't it):rotfl: Ah well! thank goodness we are all different..........

CT19720, awwww hugs hunny kids can be cruel trust me. My daughter when she was about 3 told me I could not buy a swimming costume as my bum was too big :-(.

Thanks for the comments, I have updated the card a bit so will have to re scan it. I found some lovely pink and glittery card, I attached a small tag to and a little pink flower. OK so I can not describe it very well so will re scan very soon.

Mary43, dnt worry I do not normally make an effort but this friend really deserves a special card.
