    Hi all again,

    Fab cards!! :T

I bought a daisy hole punch last week and have been making my own card toppers, they look quite sweet.

I need some more ideas other than just buying toppers and sticking them on, so I check this thread quite often, although most of your cards are too clever for me :rotfl: but maybe one day xx

I thought I would share my good news with you all. I have been trying to track down an old friend from uni, I haven't seen her in about 12 years, and we lost contact about 10 years ago. After searching for her for a few years without success I finally got her address last week and sent her a letter. She emailed me back yesterday and we have been speaking on the phone today - I am so chuffed!

Melissa thats fantastic news!!! I bet you are chuffed.

It was similar with a friend of mine, we lost tough then when I went to another friends house I saw her in the street, turns out she was living in the same street ... we had a good catch up and turns out her daughter is my (teenage boyfriends) daughter ... we had a fantastic time laughing about everything, and I saw my teenage ex boyf for the first time in 6 years earlier on last year, however I found out he had cancer and unfortunately died not long after. But being such close friends in the time we have caught up helped us.

  • Melissa - great news :T Did you find her through FB? I've just had a girl add me who I hadn't seen for over 20 years. I say girl - she now has 3 kids and 2 grandkids!! Talk about making you feel old, she's a year younger than me, lol.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Well Jailhousebabe - I knew she had married in 2001 and I found out her husband"s name and that they lived in London. I had tried facebook and friends reunited but hadn't found her. Then I tried the 192 service on the internet, it gives you electoral roles as well. I had to pay a fee of 12 quid and then I got her address.
